Store layout is confusing. I was looking for a pk. of colored tissue paper to put in a gift bag. It was nowhere near the other selections for seasonal gifts. Clerks were vague on placement and sent me to both sides of the store. A customer finally showed me the location: on a high shelf "hidden in plain sight" away on another aisle from the ribbon, tags and giftwrap...Toilet paper 12 pk --an everyday own--would not scan into the computer, and the cashier had to call the manager to make it accept the item.

Normally adequate but as of late,… they CLOSE 10mins early and are RUDE when you arrive? As if you should have already known you that THEY CHOSE TO LEAVE WORK EARLY?

On April 29th I sent my son inside this family dollar store number 0315 and he purchased a Donald Duck red juice and some gain liquid washing detergent. The juice is only 1.00 and the gain probably run for no more than 16.00 dollars. However he never got a receipt and I didn’t care at first because I was like that’s all he got and I was in a rush to help my dad with his flat tire and be at the airport to leave for my fight. So the next morning I check my cards and see my balance in all accounts and see what I purchased the day before and balance my spending for my trip while I’m awaiting to board my next flight. I see I was charged 43.15 from this family dollar. I immediately called and spoke with some temporary assistant manager named Sabrina and she got my information and that was that because I was not in the state and I said to my self i made her aware of the situation and I’ll come back and handle it when I come back from my trip. So I comes back and calls and she said they have a district manager but she did give my information to another store manger. I called everyday since my return and she has only called me once and that was because whoever she passed my information to wanted them last 4 of my card number and that was on may 07,2021 and again I continued to call the store and yes I spoke to her and she said she was waiting on him. I also spoke Other employees at that location and they were aware and just made a bunch of excuses on why no one has contacted me. I also go to the store to see if I can see Sabrina face to face so I can get some clarification on this matter because at the end of the day an associate stole from me and that is not ok or cool. I’m still waiting on Sabrina, whatever manager she gave my personal information to and corporate to contact me and today is June 02,2021 and no one has yet give me any update or clarification or solution to my money being stolen. My next step is to press charges against the store and take it to court and get what they stole from me. Don’t this store is also in organized and the lines be hideous and extremely long. The employees be on their cell phones while ringing you up and have you waiting to them to finish their personal conversation. This store is a failure in our community and is a disgrace because they allow a customer to be overly charged and the don’t try and fix the situation at all. I will be reporting this to every reporting agency that accept complaints for company’s like this. Be careful and don’t let them cheat you out your money. That one star is definitely not deserving for this horrible store or the associates affiliated with this particular family dollar.

What can I say about Family Dollar. I have walking issues but can get there with 1 or 2 sits on my walker. I advise not buying complicated high dollar items.
