“The banks is a great place to bank with but I wish they had more control of how the customers park after hours this with two young people in it pulled up and blocked the stairway as if they were the only customers there left me trying to get down safely. They need to post signs saying no parking in front of the doorway.”

“11/15/2023 I'm updating this review from a one star after speaking with Manager Ms. Bobbie Johnson. She was extremely pleasant and was able to refund me the remaining insufficient fund charges. I would have preferred not to have to put up a fuss, but it does seem that they are making an effort, for which I am grateful.Original Review:I don't know if they need to hire more people or what, but so far I have had two major issues within a month.The first was when I deposited a sizable check and had some smaller transactions come out of my checking account and was hit with TWENTY $35 insufficient fund charges within an hour in the beginning of October. Apparently the bank just kept trying to process the same transaction over and over. After being on hold with Georgia's Own for the better part of an hour, I was able to get ten of them reversed, but they claimed not to be able to do anything about the others despite there being more than adequate funds to cover any withdrawals, so now I'm still out $350 just in fees.Most recently, I deposited another check on November 1st, and like most people, have automatic bill pay deduct from checking. I received a message from Georgia's Own stating that my funds would not be available until NOVEMBER 13th, which stressed me right out because I cannot afford to be hit with a bunch of insufficient fund fees again. I had to call on November 3rd, that Friday, and beg someone to clear the check, at first I was told that they are running behind because of the holiday, I asked what holiday and was told Veteran's Day, WHICH IS NOT UNTIL NOVEMBER 10th!!! Make it make sense! To their credit, they did allow the check to finally go through on Friday, but it should not take me calling in a panic and being on hold for such excessive periods of time. I've been with Georgia's Own for over a decade, and they have taken such a massive fall in customer service.”
