i visited this pharmacy yesterday ton pick up a allergy prescription that was called in by my allergist Wednesday morning about an hour after leaving the doctors office i got a call and email saying that my prescription was ready to be picked up. when i arrived to pick up my prescription the person up front was very taking orders and transactions was very nice to me because at first my card declined and she took her time with me helping me correct the issue to where i could pay for my medication. After i payed for my medication the pharmacist came around the corner and consulted me on how to mix and measure the medication to make sure that i knew how to give my self the dosage of the medication that my doctor wanted me to take , she also warned me of all the side effects of the medication . Great pharmacy highly recommend and will be going back in the feature

Great place to get prescriptions specifically made for YOU. Every BODY is different, so ask your doctor if there are more suitable prescriptions that can be compounded for your situation and body.The only downside is that they do not file insurance, but they give you the documentation to file with your insurance for reimbursement.

Being new in town & having a fur baby in desperate need of compounded meds for his heart is confusing & stressful but they were great at getting buddys meds straight quickly& even at a lower cost than expected. They were great!

We were coming down the coast on vacation when I accidentally threw away my son’s (literal life or death) medication when cleaning out the car at a gas station. I called my pharmacist, who contacted coastal. These guys had his compound medication ready as I was passing through Savannah. They went above and beyond for my son and I am eternally grateful and cannot praise them enough.

I highly recommend Coastal Compounding Pharmacy. I have used them for years. Even when I relocated to a different city, they continue to provide my compounded medicine timely. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I call with questions.

I have used coastal compounding for 5 years without any issues. As of this past fall I have had a completely different experience. I am not sure what has changed but it is very disappointing. They have always promptly and properly compounded my cats methimazole until I went to pick it up in September. It was completely liquified, and the staff tried telling me it was because I let it get too warm. They did replace it and the exact same thing happened again. The pharmacist the second time admitted that they were having a problem with this particular dosage and had made some changes and had fixed it. Well, my cats thyroid level went from 2 (normal is 0-4) to 16 over a period of 4 months. I would say they still have not properly fixed the problem. My vet states there is no way she was getting the right dosage. If they messed up this medication I just hope they don’t do the same for someone else who requires medication for life threatening conditions. I sadly will not be using their services again. If you use them for transdermal methimazole I strongly urge you to keep a close watch on thyroid levels.

For anyone that uses this pharmacy for their cat’s transdermal methimazole I strongly urge you to have their levels checked. September of this year I picked up my cat’s medication as I have for the last 5 years. When I got home and opened it I noticed it was complete liquid with large air bubbles. I returned it and was told it was my fault for letting the medication get too warm...they did replace it after telling me it was my fault. After a few days this second medication di
