No one answers the phone. A Schwab representative suggested that I speak with a financial adviser at my local branch (Savannah) and he told me they would reach out to me directly, but they never have. So I have tried to call them directly multiple times, but no one ever picks up - I just get routed to the national help line (shout-out to Ryan in Omaha!). I think I will finally make the move to Vanguard. :p

What an insulting disappointment. I called this branch to make an appointment, but their phone rolled over to Schwab’s customer service line 3 times. A week and a half later when someone called me back, we made an appointment. I went in this morning and was met at the door by their administrative assistant….who then led me into an empty office and started to talk at me about financial terms that I am not familiar with. And then looked perturbed when I didn’t understand her questions. I AM NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISOR. THAT IS WHY I AM HERE. I could tell very quickly that she had no interest in actually helping me or talking anything through, so I left just as quickly as I could and I won’t be back. Business IS relationships. Unfortunately, the people at this branch don’t understand that at all.

Mrs. Terri Shiver was amazing helping me do my withdrawal. She followed up with me to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you for your help! ☺️

Mike Thames is the BEST financial advisor! He is super attentive to client needs, offers quick and helpful suggestions, and most importantly (to me) he helps me understand the market and how to invest in my future. From my personal IRA, HSAs, to my son's education fund- there is nobody else I would use!!

I walked into this office as a potential new customer, wishing to restructure my current retirement account. I walked out extremely disappointed in the service, or the lack thereof. I was not invited to a room, instead spoken to while sitting in the lobby. I was asked information about “how much money I had currently” without so much as an introduction or exchange of names. After realizing that this lobby interaction was apparently the gist of my visit, I made efforts to ask specific questions regarding risk, return, and IRA options- communicating that my inquiry was earnest. The answers were vague at best. I was given paperwork and a 1-800 number. In the lobby. If I could give this zero stars, I would.
