I did night photography tour with Pablo. I had some basic knowledge in long exposure photography but Pablo took it to another level. Helped me advance my skills from astrophotography to light painting to zoom Burst/blur. In short, he has immense knowledge and very friendly nature with lots of energy. I will highly recommend to anyone with basic knowledge to the one looking to expand their skills.

Do it! Sign up now! Don't hesitate! This is the best money and time ever spent. Brittany was personable, thoughtful, and patient. She made you feel like you were the only person she was there to assist. You'll finish with a new sense of appreciation for Savannah, for your personal camera, and for the art of photography. You will leave with a new friend. Britt, thanks for making our experience so memorable.

I took my 14 year old daughter on this tour as she has a budding interest in photography and I thought it would be a great way to see some of Savannah at the same time. Britt was incredibly engaging and generous with her knowledge and spent so much time showing my daughter how to use her camera, offering words of wisdom and encouragement every step of the way. My daughter learned a great deal and left feeling inspired and confident in her ability to take great pictures. This was such a great experience for both of us!

Pablo took the info I already knew and took it to a new level. He helped me understand the ins and outs of my camera and take it last shooting in automatic mode. We got some really beautiful shots and also leaned a lot about the city. He also gave us some take home information about everything he taught us today. Truly and awesome experience. If you're looking to get more out of your shots this is a great place to start!

On a scale of 1-10, Pablo earns a 15 from my husband and son. They've just gotten in from the Night Fall tour and can't stop talking about what a wonderful experience it was. They learned a lot of new technical information and came away with new creative ideas, too. We chose Capturing Savannah because of the great reviews and were not disappointed! We definitely recommend and will likely do another tour with Pablo.

My co-worker and I signed up for a private (3-hour) photography workshop with Capturing Savannah. We work for a private club on Hilton Head Island and are responsible for taking marketing photos, as well as member event photos. We were both very much at a beginner level, so weren’t sure what to expect out of the workshop. Pablo was great! He tailored the workshop to fit our needs and was constantly referencing how to apply the concepts he was teaching to our work goals. His knowledge and passion is evident in every word he speaks. His teaching style is the perfect balance of instruction and hands-on practice. After the about 2-2.5 hours, we felt so comfortable with the camera, we started exploring and stopping at every beautiful scene in our path- and before we knew it, the session was over. I now have a newfound passion for photography (and now that I feel comfortable with a camera), I definitely plan on booking one of their group excursions that focuses more on sightseeing and history (and bringing my husband along, as I know this is something he would enjoy too!). As a local, I think it’s something everyone in the Lowcountry should take advantage of!

If you are looking for an opportunity to take AMAZING photos of Savannah then you need to book a tour with Capturing Savannah now! My husband and I walked Savannah with Pablo and Britt for more than 3 hours and had so much fun. There were four other newbie photographers on the tour with us, but it truly felt like a one-to-one experience as we wandered through squares, getting not only top-notch lessons in taking photos (composition, lighting, shutter speeds, F-stops, ISO, etc.) but also tons of interesting tidbits about Savannah's long and stored history. We've visited Savannah twice and done trolley tours, walking tours, ghost tours, but this was definitely the BEST tour. Pablo and Britt are both energetic and fun, but they definitely know their stuff and their love and passion for photography and for Savannah is evident immediately. I booked the tour for my husband and tagged along as a walker, but even I feel like I'm a better "phone photographer" just from listening and following their tips. I impressed myself with some of the pics I snapped and I am blown away by my husband's!I don't know when we will make it back to Savannah, but I do know we will be booking another tour with Capturing Savannah as soon as we are in town!

While Pablo took this newbie photog around to get the photos one expects of this historical city, he filled in the history of Savannah for my history buff husband. We both recommend this highly. You can't go wrong.

What a great experience! My wife surprised me for my birthday with a photography tour from Capturing Savannah. I learned a tremendous amount about photography, my camera as well as the city of Savannah. This was my first time visiting this beautiful city, and I left feeling I had a truly great sense of the city's history, the people, and the energy.Pablo and Britt took us all over Savannah and took the time to point out all the details, big and small. From learning how to utilize my camera better, how to frame and compose shots, to meter light correctly, Pablo's instruction was clear, energetic, and engaging. I feel like I learned more in a few hours about photography than I had in the prior year. My photography has taken a big step forward, to be sure! And we loved Britt's energy as well. She pointed out so many details, and really framed the history of this great town very well. As I would be taking photos, I would overhear my wife and Britt talking and laughing. It was so much fun!I highly recommend Capturing Savannah... one of my favorite experiences in quite a while!

I had a great time on a photo tour this morning. I am local to Savannah so I have seen most of these places before. Britt showed them to me from a new prospective. This is not just a tour but also a custom photography lesson from a pro. I would highly recommend this tour to an photo enthusiast.

I absolutely loved this tour. Pablo and Britt were such a fun couple. When you sign up for the tour, you are really getting two-for-one, photography lesson and city tour. They are knowledgeable about photography and Savannah. I had such a nice time, I think it was the highlight of my trip.

My husband has been trying to show me how to use my camera in manual since I met him 8 years ago. I don't know why, but having him teach me makes me feel silly and dumb, so I surprised myself by booking this for my sister and I. I am not interested in group tours with mixed ages, and wanted something more intimate and adult, so this was different in that it was completely personalized. She taught us ISO/shutter speed and F-Stop settings and gave us tips on composure of photographs as we walked through Colonial Park and the surrounding areas. I was bummed that my camera battery died towards the end, but really enjoy the pictures I took. I have never taken pictures of architecture before (my husband loves this type of photography, but I am usually a selfie or close up of faces only person), and am proud of the pictures my sister and I took. Britt was our guide, and she was funny, friendly, well-educated, charismatic and obviously passionate about educating all ages and types about photography. I wish her and Pablo well and hope they expand to San Francisco one day so I can take another tour.
