It is with sad news that we are leaving Capital Crest. I have absolutely LOVE living here for the past year!! I recommend this place over any place in Pooler!! I came here for work and have enjoyed the apartment, neighbors, pool and dog park for Bentley! But most of all the Megan, Mel & Victoria. I felt like family when ever I walked into their office with Bentley ( who loved the dog treats) as they seemed to have anticipated my needs and offered exceptional service! I wanted to express my gratitude to all the staff, including Anthony-Maintence supervisor!! I never once considered moving from here until job change occurred. Thank you so much for your exceptional service from front desk to maintenance! I couldn't have been happier and wish the management team the best! Sincerely Michelle

The property is only outshined by the staff. I have been corresponding with Mel the assistant manager and she is a breath of fresh air! She has been extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and has such the positive disposition that made my experience so much more enjoyable. Shopping for an apartment can be such a stressful time, but I definitely feel more at ease knowing this team has my best interest at the forefront of their priorities. I look forward to my new home with them!

Beautiful apartments great pool and outdoor cooking area with a nice outdoor fire pit for a cool nite to sit around the fire.For you pet lovers there is a amazing dog park and indoor bathing area . And a great car Care area to clean the car and detail your car yourself.I would definitely want to live there.

Very nice property and well-maintained. I just hate that they have old appliances. You would think that with the price they charge, they would upgrade to better appliances and a better sink. They have the cheapest, most outdated appliances money can buy. Crazy. The area outside of the clubhouse has gone downhill. Very dirty furniture and the tables are wrapped with yellow caution tape? Please fix it. You get paid enough.

Great apartments. Wonderful staff. Not the cleanest place I have ever lived, but the apartments are cute and quiet. It feels safe and the gym is nice.

Front office never picks up the phone. Apartment had several issues that weren’t resolved before I moved in. Even after 3 times calling and complaining, nothing has been done. I see the maintenance staff sitting in the golf cart smoking a cigarette every day, yet he can’t find the time to fix my problems. I didn’t pay only a portion of the rent, so why am I getting only a portion of what I paid for?

I’m still really new to the community but I’m liking what I see. Victoria has been very helpful in handling any minor concerns that I may have experienced. I’m looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the capital crest team. It already feels like home.

Capitol crest is the WORST apartment I have ever lived in.The community is not kept clean and the management team does not care to correct this issue. The trash compactor always has piles of trash just outside the door or on the side which attracts bugs and pests throughout the community. Since my boyfriend and I have moved in about 5 months ago, we have asked the community to fix the trash compactor issue at least 3 times with no correction. Despite the continuing issue there is no point in bringing it up as they will not do anything.The “gated” community has a false sense of security. As the gate has been open for anyone to drive through for over 2-3 months of the time that we have lived here. In addition, just anyone can walk through the walking gate as there is no need for a key to get in.When we had bugs in our apartment we asked for them to get sprayed. It took them a whole WEEK to respond and told us at 9am when both my boyfriend and I were at work that they were coming. We had our pet out as we were not expecting them to come. By the time I was able to come home at lunch around 12, they had come and sprayed with my pet out and I was welcomed to a LIVE bug scurrying across the floor. despite them saying that it was pet safe it, they should have given us notice. I’m not comfortable with my pet being out with a stranger alone in my home, but the staff didn’t quite understand my disappointment and frustration.In addition to the bugs we also had a serious mold issue. We found mold coming out of the vents and around the windows. When brought to their attention they “cleaned around the vents with bleach”. They did not clean the mold around the windows-I had to do that, and they did not clean in the vents or even check in the vents, only cleaned what they could see. We continued to find mold on things and just chose to handle it ourselves as management didn’t care to go the job well enough the first time. (By this point we have had many issues gone unresolved with them so it was not worth continuing to request help).When we first moved in the apartment was not clean. There were toenail clippings found in the carpet of the bedroom, (what I choose to believe were) beard shavings in the bathroom and a huge clump of shaved hair on the deck. We did not bring this up to the community as we were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but fair warning if you are expecting the complex to clean the apartment before you move in-you are sadly mistaken.By the time it came to break our least they claimed that because we did not continue to bring our issues to them that they were not valid issues and were not the community’s fault. The management is extremely disrespectful to their residents and don’t truly care, because if they did the issues would get fixed the FIRST time. I should not have to continue to ask to have a same problem fixed multiple times before it actually does.The only redeeming quality about the community is the one kind blonde girl who works in the office. She is very sweet and has always done her best to help us. I have had another worker look directly at me and immediately walk to the back as I was walking toward her to ask for help with something. If it were not for the sweet girl I feel like we would have been out of luck with most everything.I would not recommend this complex to anyone. The cost is for a luxury apartment, which does not describe anything that the complex provides. I was ecstatic to leave this horrible complex and want put this out there as a fair warning to anyone looking at this complex to be their future home.

I had a terrible experience at Capital Crest at Godley Station. I chose this apartment complex site unseen from out of state. When I arrived, I realized that it is NOT a luxury community as advertised online. The exterior hallways are dirty - when I moved in there was broken glass on the stairs, which I cleaned myself after the office staff/ maintenance did nothing. Also, an old styrofoam box of food was left in the hallway by a resident and stayed there for over 2 weeks (longer than I lived at this apartment complex).These apartments are equipped with built-in speakers. While I initially thought it was a great amenity, the walls are PAPER THIN. I listened to my downstairs neighbor pound music at night long past the designated quiet time (until around 1:30am). The music was so loud that my floors rattled and I could hear the songs clearly. I tried to watch TV to drown out the sound, but the music was way too loud for me to hear the TV! I called the courtesy officer on multiple occasions, but the music never stopped as requested. I sent noise complaints with voice recordings to the office, but nothing ever came of it.Along with the courtesy officer ignoring my noise complains, there was an incident where residents were launching fireworks in the middle of the compound. This is EXTREMELY dangerous as the surrounding buildings are made of wood. I called the courtesy officer to report, but they did not seem alarmed. I asked the front desk about it the next day, and they told me that others had reported the incident but nobody called the courtesy officer at the time. I let her know that, in fact, I called the courtesy officer but he failed to act. As far as I saw, the courtesy officer and office staff will ignore any of your concerns even if they impact community safety.I lived at Capital Crest at Godley Station for around 2 weeks before I broke my lease and moved out. I simply couldn’t continue putting up with these issues. Based on my experience, I highly recommend you look elsewhere if you want a quiet, well-kept, safe place to call home. Capital Crest incentivizes reviews with discounts and special promotions, so don’t be too quick to believe all the positive reviews.

I really appreciated the explanation as to what the guys did to fix my AC after the power knocked it out. That extra time they took to write a written explanation to me on how I can resolve it myself next time really taught me something; I had an ahHAH moment. The timeliness in the request was also impeccable. Kudos to those guys! Thank you.

Scammer. Don’t waste your money here.They waited up until move in date to tell me I cannot move in because of papers that wasn’t even in my power to submit.Would not give me back my security deposit either, basically lost a lot of money and didn’t even get step foot into the apartment.

I am just moving in but I had the chance to work with Christina. I mean absolutely amazing . She made this process so easy and communicated with me every step of the way . She never got annoyed with my many questions and she just showed she cared. I will forever be grateful for her. Thank you so much for making this experience a great one. I will definitely be telling everyone I know about the amazing customer service.
