What a bunch of low life's. Watch your back and whatever you do, DONT BEND OVER !!!! You will definitely regret trying to deal with these snakes. I'm 64 years old and have had many many dealings with car dealers but have NEVER been shafted like J.C. Lewis can shaft. They should consider branching into porn !

Service department won't mount and balance tires on a vehicle unless you purchase the tires directly from the dealer. This vehicle was bought new from this dealer and the tires I have purchased are the same ones from the factory. No wonder people hate care dealerships.

Awful. I scheduled a service on my trucks transmission and an oil change, two weeks later I dropped the truck off at the scheduled time and explained that I was going on vacation the next day so I would pick the truck up when I returned, 7 days later. The next day I received a call that the transmission tech was able to get to it on the scheduled day. I explained that this wasn't a big deal as I was going to be out of town, so as long as it could get done when I was out of town then not a problem. 7 days later I returned, call them about the truck, for two days no answer. Finally I go down there, the service manager who would not return my calls would not meet with me and the girl at the desk was very rude. After a couple hours it turns out they never looked at the transmission or did the oil change in the week it sat there. No explanation, no info on when the work could get done, no apology, no offer to get it done quickly. Basically said if I don't like it to take the vehicle elsewhere.

I purchased a new Ford-F-150 from J.C. Lewis in October of 2021. The salesman (who i believe was Casey-do not have last name) drove the truck to my house and he would drive my trade-in back to his dealership. When i went to remove my tag from my trade-in Casey advised that he forget to bring a tag and would i mind leaving it on and he would return via overnight mail. I reluctantly allowed him to leave with my tag. Following weeks there were multiple calls to dealership, but tag was never returned. Now almost two years later i receive a parking ticket mailed to me from the state of California, showing my tag on a completely different car than what i traded in. Apparently J C Lewis completely mismanaged proper care of my tag. I called the dealership in Sept of this year and asked to speak to the sale mgr. I was transferred to i believe a gentlemen named Justin, who advised he would look into this can call me back, which he never did. I had waste hours of my day at the DMV to obtain a certificate stating i am not responsible for the auto tag so i could forward to California parking authority. Control of my auto tag was poorly managed by J C Lewis Ford-Savannah and sales rep never returned my call.

This is a great team! I've been buying cars from them for years! They always go the extra mile for the customer! Highly recommend!

I have owned Ford products for 25 years in various cities in the US. J C Lewis Ford (Savannah GA) has the absolute worst service department of any dealer by far. There is a one month wait for service on a critical safety recall part. They are your best friends when you buy but don't know you when you need service.

John and Luke were awesome! Start to finish they rocked it and we appreciate all the help. If you're looking for a vehicle go see them! ASAP--Edit #2 just at another dealership. Hopefully they aren't at this one.Edit#1 - so Luke was great to work with and was a big help. That hasn't changed. But if you need to call back and talk to the finance department please don't hold your breath. You WILL NOT hear from anyone. I called once a day for a week straight and got no help or talked to anyone. Didn't call back for a couple days then started calling again asking for a manager. Don't hold your breath waiting for that either. Someone(from finance, Nicole) did eventually call back after a total of around 3 weeks of trying.Unfortunately, I couldn't answer. That was a mistake. I haven't heard back from her or anyone since, after leaving messages. I'll just attribute it to EVERY voice mail in the entire dealership is broken or disabled, machines break right? The woman at the front now knows me by voice and is very pleasant. If she and Luke are the saving grace of the dealership thank goodness.Food for thought, please bring a certified check or money order with you to pay or finance because you get charged a bank finance fee of $300 to run a debit card to pay for a vehicle. Surprise, who knew. That's my fault though, I'll own that mmhmm. It was a nice offer though that the sales manager that evening "would split the difference with me" and that they gave me a free oil change coupon (who knows if the dealerships in my state will accept it) thanks.Prepare to pay $100 under their certified blue warranty program to get your vehicle looked at. That was a nice surprise. And here we are, the reason that I've been calling. Again this isn't the dealerships fault, it can't be right? I have 3 days left (2 being the weekend) on my dealership tag before it expires because the GA DMV hasn't sent the title. I'm sure at some point I'll get it. Till then I'll just drive an unregistered vehicle. All in all it's been a great experience working with the folks at JC Lewis ford in Savanah. Thanks for the memories. --Edit#2- So I was FINALLY able to talk with someone after an ungodly amount of calls, messages, and being semi rude to the woman who knows me by voice. Very simply, Chris sent me the receipt saying the dealership paid the DMV a month after my purchase. This message could have been relayed 10 days ago. Literally. That's when it was paid. I'm not sure what position Chris holds, it can't be management, but congratulations JC Lewis on hiring one person in sales or finance besides the front desk who knows how to pick up a phone. I say Chris couldn't be in management because He also cared zero percent that one person in 3 weeks made an attempt to call back. I quite literally would not go back to that dealership if they were going to hand me keys and a title to a free car and just drive off. I understand this is long but please save yourself and go to any other dealership. Anywhere.

The car lot does have a nice selection, is located in the heart of town, but that's where the positives stop. Employees are trained to lie and the cars are over priced. I went to look at a vehicle that had 5 miles on it in the pictures online. When I showed up the interior was filthy and the car had over 1200 miles. Clearly an employee had been using the vehicle. It was priced way over Msrp and when I asked why the miles were so high the employee claimed it had been driven here from the manufacturer. No vehicle is direct driven, they are shipped in trains then moved to auto transports. The pictures were taken on their lot with 5 miles. I don't tolerate liars and dealer mark ups are just theft. If your looking for a vehicle look elsewhere.

Just be prepared if you "schedule" an old change with a maintenance plan, be prepato wait 2 hours or more for something that should take about 20 minutes. Also mark your tires and see if they take to time to rotate them even though they'll mark it down that they did.

As a disabled veteran who left the military during Covid, I have faced extreme hardships and rely heavily on my vehicle for both personal use and my business. Unfortunately, the 2015 Ford Transit Connect that I purchased from JC Lewis Ford with less than 20,000 miles has been an incredibly disappointing experience. The vehicle has had multiple issues since I purchased it, including two blown motors, a boost leak, a faulty speedometer, odometer, ABS sensor, and fuel rail. In addition, the four tires that came with the vehicle were all dry rotted and flat within a week, which caused me to incur additional expenses. Not to mention rental car fees for eight total weeks. When picking up the vehicle the first time it had code lights and TPMS lights still on. I drove 500 feet turned around and asked them to turn them off. The response was " you waited 4 weeks for this car and turned around just for TPMS lights? I can turn them off if you want"As a disabled veteran, having a reliable vehicle is crucial for my daily needs, and the issues I faced with this vehicle have caused me significant stress and financial strain. The fact that the dealership failed to provide me with a safe and reliable vehicle is unacceptable, and I am disappointed in their lack of responsibility in this situation.Additionally, JC Lewis Ford does not inform buyers that they need to keep all receipts for maintenance completed, or they will not warranty their work or lack thereof. This is an important detail that they should disclose to potential buyers. They are unable to warranty the motor due to sludge build up.I called the last location to service the vehicle and asked about particular sludge build up and he assured me if there was something to note they would have mentioned it.Below are all the reasons sludge can be caused and given the vehicle and how it was repaired I wouldn't be surprised if it had multiple issues.A faulty head gasketOil contaminated by unburned gasolinePoor oil circulationInfrequent oil changes and filter changesPoor quality oil or improperly used oilOil contaminated by the emissions systemEngine runs too hot or too cold in spotsOil filler cap seal failureYour car has been driven on too many short trips or on too many trips under adverse conditions.Overall, my experience with JC Lewis Ford has been extremely negative, and I would not recommend them to anyone. The issues I faced were not only frustrating, but also potentially dangerous. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, I would advise you to proceed with caution and thoroughly inspect the vehicle before making a purchase. This vehicle has cost me more than I paid for it in rentals and repairs with less than 80,000 miles

Really hoping this review can change to a better one if JC Lewis ever decides to get back to me.... I bought a certified used 2019 Ford Ecosport from Grainger Honda in October and that was the biggest mistake of my life... After sending it to Grainger for "repairs" I finally have had to take it to a place that works in fords and was told my option was gonna be JC Lewis. I dropped it off in June 7th in the morning and it's now June 18th and I've heard NOTHING. John G the service advisor told me it would be a day or 2 then I'd hear from them. After several days I finally called and got a real non answer, and well haven't heard a darn thing since. EDIT* after I posted this they called me the next day and got my car back like 2 days later. The repairs cost less than expected. If the repairs hold up (I've been burned before with this car) I'll give em 4 stars! Just let people know it's gonna take 2 weeks, I'd rather know up front!

I created an account just to write this review. I don't even normally bother with bad reviews. That's how serious this is..We've had one of the most horrific, gut-churning experiences of our lives dealing with this J.C. Lewis Ford branch; it has nearly wiped out our savings, for nothing. Our Ford Escape was part of the recall this summer. We chose this branch because it was nearby and had excellent reviews..Our experience has been an ongoing nightmare:(1) First, they forgot they had our car -- for over 3 weeks. Literally. The car was sitting in their lot, unprocessed. We thought they were working on our car that entire time. We'd been relying on Lyfts & Ubers to commute to work, which set us back over $500. The manager called us to personally apologize, and gave us a courtesy rental car. (2) But, when we got our car back, the battery suspiciously died within days. We noticed that the radio stations had been reprogrammed and left on a channel we never listen to. Suspicious? Yes. But, we didn't want to lodge accusations we couldn't prove. So, we took our car back to JC Lewis Ford.(3) When we got our car back the 2nd time, there were even more problems than before. The transmission wasn't working properly, again. The acceleration was delayed. The tires were grinding against the car. Random lights were blinking on the dashboard. (4) We called JC Lewis Ford, told them our saga, they assured us we could drop the car off Sunday night, and by Monday afternoon, they'd have a time & cost estimate for us. (5) Instead: we called them on Monday and were told (cavalierly) that it would be 3-5 business days before they could even look at our car. We reminded them that this wasn't what we were told, that we couldn't afford to take Ubers/Lyfts for that long... That person told us to call someone, who told us to call someone, etc., etc. We were left high and dry. .We are now down an additional $40 + time spent taking a Lyft there and back to drop it off -- for nothing. Grand total = over $3,000 out of our savings. We're not wealthy. We had to push back our life plans to move, because of all this. For nothing..The worst part? We tried to be understanding and reasonable throughout this process. In return? We haven't even gotten sympathy from management, let alone accountability...This is the most devastating, exploitative experience we have ever been through with any company in our lives..If you take your car here, be warned that an experience like this is a risk. They clearly pay for/offer incentives for good reviews. Don't take them at face value.

There will be never enough good thing I can say about this entire operation. Sales, service and parts has the best crew one can hope for. While their sales and parts department second to none. I wanted to dedicate this review to the service department, especially to Chad Tollison. This guy is a miracle worker. He always know how to find the right brilliant mechanic to solve a problem.Highly recommended
