Beware ! This business owner is a crook and have receipts! He closed the Skidaway Road in Savannah location after providing poor services. I had my Cadillac service here to transmission cable clip replaced for +200. When I picked the vehicle and made it home, the transmission cable dislodged again (same issue). I brought it to another Auto Service and they explained the plastic clip was wrong size, too loose. They fixed the vehicle for a hundred dollars less and in the same day. When I called Adkins auto shop , he blew it off w a laugh as if “oh well”.
My father also had his vehicle repair last month. He was supposed to have a power steering leak repair . A week later, the truck is still leaking , we are out of $560 and the business is gone from Savannah without any forewarning. Consider another shop so you don’t get robbed like I did.

Had my car with a broken belt towed to Akins & Bobs on Saturday evening. Because they were not able to fix it (for not having a master technician), they let me park the car at the shops 2 days free of charge, they also didn't charge for checking the problems.
Very honest people, highly recommended.

Didn't really stop here for service, just wanted to give a shout out to "Smurf", who saved my day. I was leaving the doctors office across the street and realized I had locked my keys in my car. He was kind enough to take some time out of his day to run over and help me out. Saved me from waiting around for a few hours for insurance to send over a locksmith. I guess if you're going to lock yourself out of the car, no better place to do it than across the street from Akins and Bobb. Thank you again Smurf.

If you’re in need of mechanic work, these are TRUE mechanics (rare find) with years/decades of experience. They diagnosed and resolved the problem with my vehicle, even after taking it to Mavis 3 times and the dealership! Hats off to Gil and Alan, I feel much safer on the road now!Services: General repairs & maintenance

They are always helpful and get your car fixed in a timely manner. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Fair prices and great service. Wouldn’t bother using another mechanic for repairs.
