Great little place just 4 miles from Helen in the Sautee Nacoochee area. They've been in business for 30 years and after you try their coffee and Pastries or breakfast dishes, you'll know why!Parking: Plenty of parking, but its an unpaved parking lot except for a concrete pad next to the building reserved for handicapped parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a large wheelchair ramp directly off of the concrete pad.

This coffeehouse has the best drip coffee I have had in a while. If you’re in the Helen area it is worth it to drive 5-10 minutes outside of Helen for this coffeehouse. Do yourself a favor and buy a bag of coffee to take home with you. They also have Telsa charging stations for anyone that needs this!

We visited this place 2 times over the weekend and were greeted multiple times by rude service and nonchalant staff. The first day we came on a Saturday, where it looked to be obviously short staffed. The barista was taking both coffee orders and making the coffee where 2 folks sat in the back making food. The long brown haired man didn’t appear to be helping at all. Just looking on as the rest of the staff run around. Despite having patience and waiting over 15 minutes in line, when we got to the front the barista was rude and made us sound dumb for asking if they had scones available - something they never seem to have ready. She said, “we have them but they’re not baked as you can tell we don’t have time to bake them with how busy we are.” Talk about friendly staff. The next day we went in, they were less busy. And surprise surprise, they had been opened for 3+ hours, not busy at all, the staff all visibly shooting the breeze in front, and still no scones. And when giving the drink to my husband, the barista mumbled the name of the drink. So when he clarified what the woman had said, she seemed visibly offended that he didn’t understand what she said, and gave a snarky response back. She said something related to “honey comb”, but he thought she said “honey carm,” so he wanted to clarify. Instead of offering an apology for her visceral reaction to his question, she just gave a nonchalant chuckle and walked back behind the counter. This place touts itself as being local and warm. It’s quite the opposite. It’s very cold, unwelcoming, and entitled with how rude the staff operates.Would highly recommend not coming here. Inconsistent offerings and rude staff to match.

This place is a local favorite for a reason! Its warm atmosphere, delicious and ethically sourced coffee, and friendly staff make coming here an obvious choice!Vegetarian options: The menu isn't large and changes frequently, but there's always something for vegetarians and usually a vegan option or two as well.
