We visited and a man came to the door and said she wouldn’t be ready for 30 minutes. We left, came back in an hour and no one would come to the door or answer the phone. I really wanted to see inside. Probably won’t visit again.

We got there and then there was a sign up said you have to call and make a reservation so I called left my information they never contacted us back. So we did not get to go inside. However there was a nice elderly man that had came outside he was super nice and talk to us.

After looking at the website I thought this would be a great place to visit. However upon arriving the doors were locked and the parking area looked like a personal driveway. There wasn’t a sign on the door that had hours. Maybe it is closed for good.

This place needs to be taken off the internet as a place to visit. It has advertised to call and make a reservation for their dessert and tea, which we were really looking forward to. I was told they no longer do dessert and tea. The lady also said they would be closed thru mother's day, so we went back the day after mother's day. There was an older couple sitting on the porch when we walked up and they said they were closed. I think they either are out of business or possibly only sell merchandise online?? They should probably remove the sign in front of the house. We were really looking forward to visiting, but were very disappointed about the misinformation on behalf of the owners.

As a huge fan of GWTW, I was thrilled with this museum. The house is an old, lovely home . The owner was very sweet and knowledgeable about her collection that she has graciously made into a little business! SO many collectibles and she even has a shop if you are interested in starting your own GWTW collection. A great, inexpensive visit!!

I am a big time lover of gone with the wind (my kids are named after characters for crying out loud) the owner was sooo sweet and not only had amazing collectibles to see in the museum, the gift shop was full of items that any lover would want to carry away. This time i was lucky enough to get a 1973 anniversary edition book, and the cutest salt and pepper shakers of scarlett and Rhett! I even asked about the flowers that lined the walkway and she told me to pick some to take home. This lady has the most southern hospitality ever! The only thing that could make this better was if Vivian Leigh herself was there

Such a fun treat! We enjoyed a delicious summer lunch surrounded by all sorts of "Gone with the Wind" memorabilia. VERY accommodating for special diets.

This is a great place to start a GWTW collection. If you are looking for a specific piece of Gone With The Wind and Betsy doesn't have it in her gift shop she will help you track it down.. It is a family owned operated museum and gift shop in the downstairs of her home and if you go at the right time the house is smelling of homemade pies. I have been going since she first opened and I will be returning for as long as she continues to be open.
