Just move somewhere else. There wasn’t a picture attached, but along the hallway there’s been a BLOODY tissue left sitting there. Disgusting. Random garbage and tobacco residue left in those same stairwells they want you to walk through with broken elevators.Just like the reviews say.. BOTH elevators are broken in one building, leaving residents to have to go on a maze tour just to get outside to the garage - and if you don’t drive and are able to park on the garage level coinciding to your floor good luck. I feel bad for anyone moving in, because they don’t have a way to get their things to their place considering most moving trucks don’t clear the clearance limitThen you have sporadic junk in the stairwells and in the garage. The mattress and junk has been sitting in the garage for days. For what you’ll pay here you can easily check out the MANY near by apartment complexes. Also being 10-15 minutes from Brookhaven and Buckhead you have so many other options than here.

My husband and I have been living here for a little over three years now. Overall, it had been a great place to live. However, there has been lots of management changes and lots of increasing issues, such as reserve parking spots being taken, the parking area is being trashed, The valley trash is never being taken on time, The elevator is constantly broken, Gate key does not consistently work and there are times where the key fob does not work in the stairwells. When these issues to management, there is no initiation or urgency, or care for them to fix any of these Issues. The reason why I’m actually writing this review is because recently my reserve parking space has been taken by new people moving in to the apartment complex who are not following the rules and after speaking with management and the leasing office in regards to my paid parking spot being taken by other people They have not done anything about this nor does the courtesy officer have any authority to do anything except for a warning or a sticker on the car. Because of this ongoing issue, my husband‘s car has been hit by a vehicle Which was a hit-and-run because there are no cameras in the parking garage, and the leasing office is unable to help or do anything about the situation and this has all happened because someone else is parking in my parking spot where I park next to my husband. We had to call the Sandy Springs police, and they advise the leasing office to have cameras, and to figure out who hit my husband‘s car. I definitely don’t recommend moving here because of the new management changes. They are not willing to work with you, and they keep increasing rent for absolutely no reason and are not lenient or flexible with anybody with any circumstances. I hope that things get better here but probably will be leaving the bishop soon. I’ve also attached a picture here of my husband damaged car.

I’ve been living here a month. When I first came to view the apartment I immediately made my decision. Kayla helped me at the time and I was so excited to move here. She emailed me all of my initial paperwork and gave me the total of how much I needed to pay to move-in. I had the $ ready, but come move-in time, I went to pick up my keys and was told that I needed to pay an additional $1,100 because she made a mistake on my paperwork. I showed her the email of the amount she told me and all she had to say was “it was a mistake on my part I’m sorry.” From that moment on, I knew I wouldn’t be dealing with her on any other issues I was having… moving forward to 2 weeks ago, I sent an email complaining about my upstairs neighbor and how she NEVER sits down. She literally is walking around her living room ALL DAMN DAY!!!! Kayla responded and said she would contact the person or I have the option to call security. I’ve called security twice and no answer. I literally got home at 6am and the lady was making all kinds of noises, sliding chairs, jumping up and down, to the point today my smoke detector started sounding off. I’ve complained so many times, put a note on the door and still NOTHING! The noise hasn’t stopped, it’s like the energizer bunny. I’m seconds away from calling the police because it’s so bad throughout the day & night that I can’t sleep. Today they told me they would contact her but I don’t think they have because it’s still ongoing. I’m seriously considering transferring to another apt or breaking my lease because it is THAT BAD. How can you not have peace in your own home? It’s ridiculous. Other than that, this is a really nice apt, maintenance so far has been great. I have no complaints except for the fact that people leave the trash on the ground in the trash chute instead of throwing it in there if they miss valet and it stinks up the entire floor! There needs to be carpet cleaning often and retouch the paint on the hallway walls. I love the neighborhood, it’s close to every single store you can imagine, easy access to the freeways and plenty of restaurants. I just wish my upstairs neighbor would get tired of walking and it would at least be 4 stars LOL

Joe at the Bishop is amazing! he took his time to show us around and even though we ended up not leasing at this time, we would definitely consider the Bishop when we are ready. Ask For Joe at the leasing office.

Management staff, especially Joe from the leasing office was really helpful finding the right apartment for me. Apt complex is clean(no bugs/ pests) and quiet with a well equipped gym in each building. View from the rooftop pool at night is breathtaking. Overall a nice place to stay!

Originally posted August 2023:It's almost 6:00 am on a Saturday morning, and yet another false fire alarm has just finishing ringing, allowing other residents like myself to return to their homes and finish sleeping. I thought it was the perfect time to add to the recent reviews.I live daily with the fear of being locked in a non-climate-controlled cement stairwell because of the poor design of the buildings. You see, this small area leads to the parking garage, and a key fob is required to get into this stairwell AND also out of it. Unfortunately, there have been one too many occasions during which these doors and/or locks are either malfunctioning or not working at all. Imagine swiping your key fob across the electronic sensor, it failing to read, and getting stuck inside this small, windowless space during the summer!Car break-ins are also a common occurrence, but I'm just learning this by reading other reviews... because while the property management/staff can communicate about the oft-broken elevators and ever-closed pools/gyms, they refuse to communicate this very real threat to residents in one of their cutesy email blasts. Hell, they refused to even acknowledge it; they ignored my emails and phone calls when I (1) notified them and (2) asked a simple question regarding the functionality of the cameras in the parking garage in order to assist with the police investigation. Of note, this break-in occurred behind the resident security gate in the parking garage.Speaking of the parking garage, entering and exiting is a non-stop game of chicken with other drivers. There are no mirrors or lane markers, and visibility and spacing are poor. I have witnessed lots of near misses, but I do not doubt there are collisions I have missed. In short, you can forget about personal/property safety or security or attentive property management or convenient deliveries (with or without the use of the Fetch package services because some floors do not have elevator access...) or full access to amenities or even getting a solid night's rest. For the amount of money you would pay to live here, you can afford yourself to look elsewhere. At least the location is nice.Updated November 2023:You can see that they’ve responded to this Google review to PUBLICLY save face, however outside of this public forum the office ignores every attempt to communicate with them. Please also keep this in mind before leasing an apartment here.Updated February 2024:I decided I would stay in the community because of its proximity to my current job. My only ask was to move to a floor with elevator access (because not every floor has this) and into a unit with an actual balcony. The leasing office told me "no, because it's a lateral move and not an upgrade or a downgrade." Had Claudia mentioned this upgrade/downgrade requirement when I agreed to move into my current unit on the grounds that I could potentially switch leases into something else, I WOULD NEVER HAVE MOVED INTO THE UNIT. To say that I am livid is an understatement, but I guess it's a silver lining. Now, I'm actually forced to stick to my principles and move out.

Just moved to The Bishop with my partner and received great customer service from Kayla who welcomed us to the property and assisted with any issues we had. Coming from a wonderful community prior, she has made the transition to Atlanta a great experience.

Overall opinion:We’ve had a great experience with the leasing staff so far. Kayla has been awesome from the beginning and she has taken great care of us throughout our move-in process. Our initial experience:There are two separate buildings at this property, so I can’t speak for both. We are in the main building, where the leasing office is located, and so far we haven’t had any issues with fire alarms going off. All amenities have been accessible and overall the property is maintained. Currently, the garage gate is still broken from an event where about 15 cars were broken into the other week. Unfortunately, there are ZERO cameras in the parking garage. So, that’s a little concerning, especially if you’re a resident trying to file a police report after a break in.We’ve had a few maintenance requests upon moving in and they were all taken care of very swiftly. We’ve been here for about a month and valet trash has shown up every time we’ve placed ours out.

My experience was AWESOME! Joe was the best agent I’ve had in a long time. He was patient, thorough, and made me feel at home before I even signed my lease. He showed me a unit that I absolutely fell in love with and he made it happen! He’s my fav

I’ve lived here for two years and it was fine starting out but it’s completely gone down hill. This place is disgusting, never clean, fire alarm goes off three times a month at 2 am, people are always yelling, cars are broken into, elevators are always broken, pools always closed, the main gym hasn’t been open in months, they charge you for random things on your rent without even telling you. Fun fact: The “valet trash” that doesn’t even come every night like they are suppose to, charged me $75 dollars for a piece of plastic sticking out of my trash bag. I could go on and on… I truly cannot wait until my lease is up to move out of this place. I don’t know how it has 4.4 stars but beware before living here… it is a great location but it’s a compete disaster.

I moved into the bishop about a month ago and my experience so far has been nothing short of amazing. The entire front office staff is kind, patient, and truly concerned about their residence’s needs. Joe, in particular, has to be one of the most considerate leasing agents I have had the pleasure of working with in long time. I’m very happy to call myself a resident of this excellent location!
