“DD's is owned by Ross or vice versa. Anyway, there are great finds. This is the only place that I buy my dog clothes, panties and pj's from. They have the same fruit of the loom packs for $5. Night grows are super comfy and cheap. I got a black DKNY dog shirt for $6. Can't beat it. I love the homes department too. Oohh and they have cleaning supplies. I also get skirts (maxi, pleated) for about $8. Can't beat it. Clothes are hit and miss because I dress business casual mostly all of the time but you can really find good buys here. Don't think of it as a cheap store. It's a spin off of Ross with less name brands. Try it. You'll find something!!”

“Great service and nice location. The female postal agent was super quick and helpful. This branch is dedicated to public service of George Bush and Marvin Runyon (I think). Worth reading about Runyon’s impact on the postal service, it’s a cool story!”

“Above and beyond help from this location. I had received back a international package twice, & a very lovely older black man with a mustache & glasses helped me (I didn’t catch his name) went above and beyond to help me figure out why my package kept being sent back. He figured it out & apologized for USPS’s mistake and I was thrilled not having to pay shipping a 3rd to send it out. Fingers crossed the package gets to where it needs to be. Thank y’all so much again for your help ??”

“I have to brag on this wonderful woman who works SOLO at this branch! About a month ago I put all my daughter's high school graduation announcements in the mailbox at this location. The woman who works there had taped it up to tell people not to put mail in there but I did not see the tape. Weeks later I wondered if my cards were ever mailed so I went back. She told me they had removed that box, that mail was not supposed to go in there. I thought she would just drop it there, as so many government workers do, but no. Ms. Whitney picked up her own cell phone, made some calls, got my number, and told me she would call me back when she found our announcements. An hour later, she FaceTimed me to ask if the letters she was holding were ours. Yes! They were! The person who removed the box had them in a bag sitting in a room and no one knew about them. Whitney found them and mailed them for me. She went the extra mile! So while I'm annoyed with USPS right now, and that worker in particular, Ms. Whitney who must be overwhelmed with all the work in that branch ran the extra mile for me and now my daughter's announcements have been delivered. Thank you Ms. Whitney!!!!”

“Yulanda and C. Sykes are always extremely helpful and patient. During the winter holidays (when lines are extra long), they decorate the lobby in a fun and festive manner with holiday tunes so that although the wait is longer than usual, it can be pleasant.”

“I wanted to send some large flat photo mailers international. I first went to the Briarcliff post office, where the clerk said they could not process international for some reason, and then told me that each packet required a customs form. So I took the forms and filled them out at home. The next day, I headed to the Chamblee post office, where I was told that they could not process international mail at their facility as their machines were down temporarily due to paperwork issues. The clerk recommended I go to the Dunwoody post office. When I went to the Dunwoody post office, the clerk questioned why I wasn't able to mail international at either facility, and said I didn't need a customs form for large envelopes that were less than 3/4 inches thick, and even showed me his screen with the instructions. There was no special machine to process international. He just used the same scale and program as for domestic. He processed my mailers at a letter rate which was much cheaper than the parcel rate that the Briarcliff clerk said I needed. I was in and out of the Dunwoody post office in a matter of minutes. I appreciate getting the quick efficient and accurate service that the other two post offices did not provide. For the record, the Briarcliff post office has not mailed international for me for at least two years that I recall. Guess I am driving to Dunwoody for this special service from now on.”

“Fast, reliable, friendly service. I come to this post office almost daily. I bring a lot of packages and my scan sheet. I never have an issue when I drop off at this location. Thanks for all you do! I appreciate you all.”

“I come here all the time and I have to say, this is the best location as far as USPS goes. These ladies know their job well and they get people in and out as quickly as they can. Thy only delay is there’s usually just one person working the front counter so if the line is long, there’s going to be a wait. The only thing I hate is they close at 4 pm and not 5pm.”

“Mr.Allison & Mr.Will helped find my package and got it to me I’m very grateful and thankful. Also the man at the front desk helped as well , They didn’t stop till package was in hand . THANK YOU”

“There's a line, but there's the friendliest employee holding the door for everyone and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. He really is giving off great energy to everyone.”

“I went in for help with a package from Switzerland that had an error with the address, they located the package and resolved the issue quickly and with a smile. 5 star service!”

“Best post office I’ve ever been to. Robert and the staff were very professional, cordial and patient with my many complex needs. I am very impressed and changed from another post office. I hope this location gets the federal funding needed to update the building structure though.”

“The USPS gets a lot of bad reviews and it's not hard to see why. It's a public service that EVERYONE uses, and like all other useful public services this one finds itself consistently underfunded and understaffed. But despite the systematic issues the post office faces, I would say the folks at MY local post office have been very helpful in locating my missing packages. Bless the people that work here, I cannot imagine the insanity they have to deal with every day.”

“I was hesitant to come here due to all the negative reviews but decided to try anyway. I came on a Thursday at 11am and the staff was very kind to me. There was no line, the service was quick, I got offered stamps, and was given a receipt. He even made sure I knew how to track my package. This might have been pure luck, but this was a great experience and I thought I'd do the kind gentleman that helped me some justice by sharing my experience publicly.”

“No wait in line when I arrived mid-afternoon on a Thursday; the one customer ahead of me was gone before I had my items ready to take to the counter. USPS employee that helped me was nice/friendly. No complaints.”

1.9 Poor93 Reviews

“I ran in to mail a package and was surprised that there was no line to speak of. The clerk was super efficient and processed my package quickly. I love the USPS tracking, as I can see where the package is at any time. They do have a sign that they are out of Christmas stamps. I was able to order online earlier and got my stamps delivered. Highly recommend online services!”

“This is actually a decent USPS. Staff has been helpful when I have visited. There is a helpful kiosk that can be used to buy stamps and print labels without needing to wait in line.”

“I'm giving this place 5 stars since the postal employees are trying to do their best given the circumstances. It's true that they're only open to the public from 12:30-2:30. I suggest going right when they open or when they close. The line is miles long if you go in between.”

1.4 Poor46 Reviews

“This place is pretty great! It's no UPS, but I frequent here a lot since I sell and ship online. Both the man and woman at the counter are really nice and patient, even when there's a long line or a time consuming request. Love my local USPS (-: There's also a QR code on the tracking receipt, which you can compliment or complain on.”

1.6 Poor113 Reviews

“Compared with the Embry Hills branch down the street this place is the Ritz. Although, its terribly understaffed (thank Congress for that) the people who work there know their jobs well, are helpful in correcting any errors you might have made (imagine how much patience their jobs actually require!) and most importantly they are not vindictive jerks. So just go there during the morning when there are no lines and you won't have trouble.”

1.3 Poor56 Reviews

“Kiosk in the front is pretty easy to use even to mail a big box. Line was long but the staff was doing her best. I’m thankful for USPS, it’s organized and efficient. If line is long just use the self service kiosk right by the entrance!”

“I went in on April 15 (tax day) to re-ship an international package. Talk about the worst time to go in. The line was long, and Crawford was the only one working. But man, he genuinely attended to every person in line. He never rushed anyone, always took his time to properly attend to each case, and was just an overall pleasurable person to interact with in spite of being the only one to attend to all these impatient people (myself included). He was the best. 5 stars.

(The wait may be long, but the customer service was worth it).”

“Honestly I have had nothing but good experiences here. Whenever I have problems at another location, I'll just come to this one here in Doraville and I never have a problem. They have always been nice to me. The only gripe I have about this location is that they don't have an a self service machine.”
