Efrain Brady who teaches tai chi here every Sunday morning is the best I’ve found in Atlanta. The classes have been centering, refreshing and rejuvenating. I’ve found Efrain a very welcoming, knowledgeable and good teacher.Tai chi can be practiced or expressed in 2 ways — As a martial art, or as “Moving Meditation”. Efrain teaches the art of Moving Meditation, which works for me because I’m looking for something to help me unplug from work and get me to breathe, move and improve coordination while developing mindfulness of mind and body.Tai chi has Chinese origins, but I can attest to the depth of Efrain’s knowledge and skills. I spent my teens and twenties immersed in Chinese martial arts, my uncle is a world famous qigong teacher, and I’ve friends and family who are TCM doctors, so I know more than most about what’s genuine and what’s quack. I’ve seen my fair share of quacks and the nuances in the between.I think Efrain is the best that I’ve found in Atlanta because with decades of experience as a licensed tai chi and TCM practitioner, he has the knowledge, science and principles of the use of tai chi as a wholistic path to a healthy spirit and body. At the same time, I can see that he has martial arts foundation as well, so his postures are polished and when I ask about postures or for tips on helping me move right, the depth of his knowledge shows with how his explanations and suggestions are so on point. Efrain is very balanced and meets you where you’re at.I’m leaving this review because Peachtree Yoga doesn’t show up on Google Map as a location for tai chi, but it should! Efrain is a hidden gem.

My experience in the Peachtree Yoga/Atlanta Yoga Fellowship teacher training program was outstanding and far better than I could have ever expected. I, like many new teachers, initially joined the training program to continue to develop my asana practice, but over the course of the training I learned so much more--yoga as philosophy, meditation practice, pranayama work, anatomy, yoga as a way of being/living. The instructors and mentors were very knowledgeable and gentle guides through the process. They were very encouraging and always there to answer questions or concerns. Through this training not only am I ready to teach some asana classes, I have developed a new practice for self-care and made wonderful friendships. I am eager to continue on the path that Peachtree has shown me. I highly recommend this program, especially for folks who want to experience the fullness of a yogic practice.

I completed my 200 hour and 300 hour YTT certification with Peachtree Yoga Center and it was truly a life-changing experience. The program is a very well-balanced and comprehensive deep dive into the 8 limbs of yoga. I was able to quickly grasp the basics of asanas and sequencing while also developing an understanding of the spiritual side of yoga and established my own meditation practice. The community I have become a part of was the best part of taking YTT at Peachtree Yoga. Highly recommend this studio and the wonderful staff and teachers who make it such a special place!

No words can describe my experience during the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. I’m so grateful for having the once in a life time opportunity to learn from the best, to heal and also built a strong and supportive community. If you are thinking about taking YTT, don’t think twice about this place.

I took the 200 & 300 YTT here. I Met fabulous people and the journey was magnificent. I learned what and what not to do. They offer a spiritual study for beginners that delves into eastern philosophy, eastern cultural concepts of spirituality, while utilizing a few ancient text as guides. Meditation is also high on the course spectrum, with a couple of sessions each class day.You will be challenged to truly become a teacher and to begin to build your very own practice and style of teaching. You can take what you feel truly benefited you and apply it to your life. You’ll learn that no one is perfect and that we all still have room to grow to truly become the best version of ourselves, in order to reflect the pure light of the CREATIVE SOURCE! You’ll also learn to navigate people, different temperaments, backgrounds and personality types.I feel that I’ve met some individuals that I will have a lifelong bond with.Namaste

Despite major imposter syndrome and never thinking I’d actually teach yoga, I was guided to Peachtree Yoga Center for my YTT200. And in the care of these incredible teachers and this incredible community, I not only went on to teach, and love teaching, but I also completed my YTT300 at PYC. Reading through other reviews I see we all share a common experience: knowledgeable and invested teachers, a supportive and caring community, a life-changing experience and much more growth than we could have imagined or bargained on. PYC is authentic, it’s the real deal. And I am beyond grateful to have found it.

Peachtree Yoga Center has curated a staff of talented, curious, loving and skilled yoga instructors. There are a variety of classes to chose from that will work your body and, more importantly, fill your soul. I have attended classes, but have also been fortunate enough to expand my yoga teacher training in it's YTT500. The experience was transformational.

I took the 200YTT and 300 YTT here and I've taking many yoga classes here as well. Where do I begin? This Yoga Center will exceed expectations. The instructors who lead the YTT's are extremely knowledgeable, patient, compassionate, and supportive with each student who walks through the door. They teach anatomy, yogic philosophy, posture, hands on and so much more! The yoga teachers here are equally as amazing! This is a place for anyone who is a complete beginner to the yoga expert!Regardless if how or why you have found PYC, just know, you have found the right place. Not only will you gain an in-depth look at Yoga but will find yourself on a path to know yourself. This Yoga Center is a space for growth, community, knowledge, support, and love.

Transformative does not even begin to describe my experience taking the 200-hour YTT program at Peachtree Yoga Center (Atlanta Yoga Fellowship). I went into it simply to further my yoga practice, with only the slightest interest in teaching. I am now coming out of the experience a more complete and true version of myself, with the tools to both continue to go inward, seeking the Self, as well as be truly present with the world around me. At this point I feel completely confident in my ability to teach a full, balanced, and dynamic yoga class, but during the process I realized that is only a secondary bonus. At Peachtree Yoga Center they cultivate people. They introduce you to yourself, teach you to go inward via meditation and the application of the Chakra system, and only from that basis are you taught how to "teach yoga." It is this basic, but tried and true formula which allows PYC to consistently graduate teachers that go on to be very successful. Taking this teacher training was the best decision I've ever made. If you are looking to take teacher training, but also seek a life-altering, eye-opening experience, look no further.

I completed my YTT 200 and all the experience -from day one changed my life for better. Ilona and Graham are gifted teachers, well prepared and with deep theoretical, practical, and spiritual knowledge of yoga. I have been practicing yoga for a while, and was looking for a studio that embraces the roots of yoga. I found it at PYC, and also a yoga community. The classes bring me "home" within. For experienced and new yoga practitioners, I highly recommend Peachtree Yoga Center. Thank you for helping me to come home.

4 months. 10 weekends. 200 hours and my life has forever changed. I am now a certified Yoga teacher (CYT200) through Peachtree Yoga Center. I resorted to Yoga two years ago when the pandemic hit the world and I remember feeling less anxious about the future every time I practiced on the mat. Yoga was a daily routine that became a habit and then my passion. I started to seek answers and that is when I knew that I needed to deepen my yoga practice and get the "basics" right. I joined the 200hr YTT program to get the "basics" right, little did I know that I will be coming out of the program with so much more than that. Besides attaining my certification, I have been blessed to have made some amazing friends for life. Friends who understand the true meaning of community and sisterhood. Thank you to my teachers, mentors, fellow yogis, my family and especially my husband for being supportive of my decision and journey. There is still so much more to learn and grow in the world of yoga and I know this is just the beginning for me. This program has been a transformational experience and I can say that I am healed from my past. Trust yourself. Trust the process and Trust your teachers and mentors in the program and you will come to the other side victorious!! I will forever hold the circle and my teachers in the highest regard. Namaste!

I just completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Peachtree Yoga Center. Words cannot express how amazing their teacher training program is - it is the perfect blend of learning the spiritual side of yoga, anatomy, poses, how to do hands on adjustments, and how to organize a yoga class. Most importantly, we were challenged to examine ourselves and heal ourselves so that we can help others. The mentors guided us with love and care along our journey. We were nurtured as a group and became more than classmates, we became a yoga family. If you are thinking about doing a 200 hour YTT program, do not hesitate to seek it in PYC - it will be one of the most amazing experiences of your life. If you just want to check out a class, their teachers are equally amazing. The energy here is wonderful.
