Horrible customer service! We have shopped at Lowe’s everywhere we have lived (we’ve moved a lot) and have bought many things from major appliances to small things like screws. While having work done in our kitchen I was told to buy a sink. I took the measurements with me to the store. A wonderful employee taught me a lot about sinks and helped me find one! I asked if it could be returned if for any reason it didn’t end up working out. I was told yes
We tried to return the sink the other day…just like most projects the timeline was pushed out and the project is taking longer than expected. I was told Lowe’s would not take the sink back because it had been more than 90 days since I bought it (I was 1 week over the 90 days!!). I explained no one told me that when I asked if it could be returned.
I talked with the manager and he said there was nothing he could do. I asked for a merchandise credit so I could buy another sink, I was told that wasn’t possible either ?. The box has never been opened!! The original tape is on the box with the plastic around it!! The box is in the same condition as I bought it!!
The manager told me the only thing I could do was call the customer service phone number and asked if it could be returned. The manager told me the customer service department overrides the 90 day policy all the time and all they have to do is give him a code. I thought OK great I’ll take care of that if they do it all the time as the manager said
After being on the phone with the customer service department for two hours, and not being allowed to talk to anybody at a management level when I asked to speak to a manager I was told because I never purchased it with a Lowe’s credit card nothing could be done.
I will NEVER shop at any Lowe’s ever again!! This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I would love a full refund on my CC but I also need a sink!! Why can’t they just let me exchange it for another sink or give me a merchandise credit!?!? They aren’t loosing any money that way but this way they are getting a bad review, bad word of mouth, and loosing at least one customer who moves a lot

They break their back for the customers but treat some employees like unfairly. Customer service is really good though.

Went in to buy flowers. A young gal named Asia was running the garden center register. What a lovely, kind girl. Asia was very helpful and went out of her way to assist customers. She was so genuine. So refreshing in our fast -paced world. ?

Had to find my own products. The gentleman in seasonal department didn't even know I was there. Probably loaded down with task by corpovrate too busy to help customers.

Bought a new dryer this month and it is great!
The service I received from Alesha was even greater. She was very professional and smiled the whole time. She makes you really feel like someone. Easy great experience and you have a valued employee with Alesha. Thank you Alesha very much!

Sooo.....your safe as a customer but as an employee runnnn they mistreat their employees. Like making sick employees work and do heavy lifting and work your buns off literally so if you want a free gym membership work here lol if you don't pass out first!!!! Employees not getting lunch breaks on 8 hr shifts which I thought was not allowed legally but these jobs do whatever these days and it's wrong!!

You can definitely see the influence from Marvin Ellison! The customer service was amazing! Always the one thing Lowes lacked against Home Depot. Now Lowe's has it and Home Depot doesn't! I'm a convert! Thanks to the appliance, hardware, front end departments!

So I needed a cap for my faucet and there was nobody in plumbing to help. I found a new employee who knew nothing. He tried to find someone in plumbing but they were off for the day. He disappeared and I couldn't find any help. I searched through 2 aisles and bought what may or may not fit. Disappointing. Poor service.

We have lived in SS for 26 years. We frequented this store for many, many years. Recently, it was clear the caliber of service was in decline. We started going to the E. Cobb Home Depot instead. This weekend, we stopped in and had a wonderful experience. The staff we encountered were all so friendly and helpful. We had a lot to get, from plants to cleaning supplies, and we checked on decking, fencing and appliances, so we must have passed and interacted with at least ten employees. All were helpful and friendly; I didn't know I would have that experience otherwise; I would have made note of all the names - but I started making notes near the end of our visit. Dion (pro desk), Christine, Vee & Robert (cashiers), and I had a very positive experience that day (4/13/24) with the appliance dept staff, the greeters, including Chris, the flooring department, and 2-3 passing associates who offered help! It is a relief and joy to see the quality of customer service at this store improving. It is the closest home improvement store to our house, and it sure is nice to feel like we want to return. Thanks to the 4/13/2024 staff - please keep up he GREAT work!
