I have been a Lifetime member for roughly a year now and my experience at this location has been very positive. The cleanliness of the facility, professionalism of the staff, and quality of group training instructors - in particular, Hallie, Diana, and Francisco - are aspects of membership that well-warrant the price tag. Additionally, this location has a community feel to it that other gyms tend to lack. I highly recommend considering Lifetime over the other cheap, gimmicky chain spots across the metro area.

I love my gym! Always clean, friendly staff, well maintained facilities. Shout out to my favorite locker room attendant, Erica! She’s the bomb.com ??

I have been a member of Lifetime Sandy Springs for 2 years now. Today I left my water bottle and realized once I got home. I knew exactly where I left it and called the front desk to see if they could confirm if it was there before making the 25 min drive back. I was placed on an 18 min hold (which was not a problem) only to be told that she would not go look and that I could come back and take a look if I would like. I explained that I lived far away and that I would really appreciate her taking a moment to confirm if it was there or not. She was quite rude. I then called back because the conversation did not sit well with me and asked to speak to the manager. He was not on duty, so I asked to reach his voicemail. She gave me a fake number. Not to mention this is not my first complaint on Lifetime Sandy Springs. There are 12-15 yr old kids just “hanging out” on the gym floor not working out and just in the way. Additionally, there are unattended tweens at the pool at 10 at night yelling and causing a scene when I am trying to relax. The aquatics director did handle the pool issue quickly and well and that I commend! I go to this gym 6 days a week and will be escalating the lack of help from the front desk in person. I pay for a “luxury” gym experience. If I wanted crunch fitness level service I would pay $10 a month not $300. If anyone has any recommendations of an upscale gym in Sandy Springs we are in the market.

I have the most expensive membership, $329 monthly, due to the N. Druids Hill location opening. The fact that all locations are preventing anyone from bringing in a gym bag is ridiculous. Multiple staff informed me that members were stealing equipment and putting it in their bags. However, they want to punish.

I recently visited the gym and would like to share my experience regarding the front desk staff. Unfortunately, I found the demeanor of the front desk personnel to be less than welcoming. They seemed indifferent to my inquiries and appeared to lack the level of attentiveness one would expect in a customer service environment. This left me with the impression that they may not prioritize client engagement. I hope this feedback can be taken constructively to enhance the overall experience for future visitors. Thank you for your attention.

This club is best described as a circus. Entirely disorganized with weight machines spread all over. No attention to detail, dirty as confirmed by other reviews. More a place to be seen then to workout.

Pros:
•Great weight floor equipment
•Friendly staff
•Nice kids club
Cons:
•The schedule on the app is always incorrect
•The front desk never answers the phone
•Only one basketball court that’s always booked up during the summer
•They charge $125 per person to use the outdoor pool in the summer

Being charged for services that were never rendered is insane to me. Casey was very nonchalant about the issue and during our conversation she decided to address another matter that had NOTHING TO DO WITH MY ISSUE. I will be canceling my membership until Druid hill location opens up. The customer service here sucks!

Today, I decided to write a review about this location. I've been coming here for a couple of months and I really like it. I really wish people would stop saying that this place isn't clean. I've seen people post pictures of hair in the drain and towels on the floor. I've also seen reviews about the staff being unprofessional, which I have never experienced that so I can't speak on it. As far as the place being clean, I will speak about that. What i realized from coming to this place is that a lot of the people who visit here feel that they're entitled and are privileged so they don't feel like they have to clean up behind themselves, which is ridiculous. This facility gives you all the resources you need to keep it cleaning. They literally have a trash can at every door and napkins so that if you do have hair that you left in the sink or the drain in the shower, you can wipe it out. If you have a towel there is literally a place to put the return towels by the exit door so there is no excuse for you to leave the towels on the floor all over the place. You want to blame the facility and the workers for the uncleanliness, but you need to blame yourself. Everyone should clean up after themselves. Just because they have people who claim the facility does not mean that they are the maid, meaning pick up after yourself. It's not their job. Stop making a mess. I think in some people's minds that they think it's staff job to clean up after them so they don't respect the facility or other people who are using the facility. In reality, their job to keep the facility clean, but we have to do our part. When I come to this facility, it's clean. So by the time I leave, if it's dirty, it's from everyone else not doing their part. It's literally no reason why this place should not be clean. They give you all the tools you need. So please stop being lazylazyand clean up behind yourself. There are other people that use this facility. Stop being lazy and making it hard for everyone else. And you know who you are.

Not worth the price tag at all. Not even 24hrs anymore and have to pay a one time fee of a $100 for pool access? Pure greed. One of the worse lifetimes ive been to.

I’ve been addicted ever since joining. There is something for everyone here. Extensive cardio and weight lifting equipment, studio classes, 3 pickleball indoor pickleball courts, basketball court, squash courts, indoor lap and leisure pool, 2 indoor hot tubs, huge outdoor resort style pool, sauna and steam rooms in each locker room and a coed sauna pool by the pool area. Cafe serves good food and drinks.

I expected a lot from this Lifetime given its premium price point, but it ended up being a huge letdown. This is by far the worst Lifetime gym I've visited, both in Georgia and Texas.
First off, the lighting is terrible. It's dim and uninviting, making it hard to feel energized for a workout. The workout areas look old for a gym that charges such high fees. Adding to the frustration, the speakers are broken in most parts of the gym, so don't expect to enjoy any music with tempo or energy.
The playlist they do manage to play sounds like it's straight out of a retirement home. It's completely uninspiring and actually made my workouts feel longer and more tedious.
The gym is cluttered with way too many televisions, all displaying low-brow content like MSNBC, Fox News, reality TV shows, and even silly dog pageant competitions. This constant barrage of distractions is annoying and makes it hard to focus on exercising. Why are TVs necessary above the free weight area? That make zero sense.
It's clear that whoever is the operations manager or organizes this gym has done a pretty poor job, especially for this so-called "premium athletic club."
Considering the high membership cost, especially when compared to surrounding Lifetime gyms, this place is an absolute rip-off. Save your money and find a better gym. This one is a total waste.

We have been members here for years and are very sad to see the quality go down. Members regularly wear underwear into the pools and jacuzzis. Others blast their speaker phones in the sauna, gym, etc. Management does nothing other than send out emails, which are ignored. It’s no longer a pleasant place to relax or exercise. Very disappointed.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service Experience
I recently had a distressing encounter with the customer service at Lifetime Fitness, and I feel compelled to share my experience. Upon calling to inquire about my membership status, I was met with astonishingly rude and unprofessional behavior from the lady at the front desk.
Not only did she repeatedly put me on hold without explanation, but she also used inappropriate language when I asked a simple question about my membership expiration date. Her lack of courtesy and disrespect towards a paying member was utterly unacceptable.
As someone who values good customer service, I was deeply disappointed by this experience. It's disheartening to see such behavior tarnishing the reputation of what is otherwise a reputable establishment.
I sincerely hope that Lifetime Fitness takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to ensure that all members are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.
