I wanted to start off by saying that if you arrive at an "Extra Spaces" storage facility, you're at the RIGHT place. Les COLORistes is a hidden gem tucked away inside. If you go in through the main entrance (facing Mt. Vernon) you'll see a very nice waiting area for the whole building. Go through the door on your left and you'll see the different individual hair salons. Alex is the owner of Les COLORistes and he is AMAZING. I've been going to him for years (and I have been known to hop around from place to place in the past). He was trained in London and even travels around the country for exhibitions and he also presents at hair shows for other stylists/colorists to learn from. This dude is legit. I know he has a lot of happy female clients (because I've seen them there when I've waited before) but I can only personally speak for his mens cuts. He's really creative and does a really good job of coming up with styles that work really well with your face/head and any preferences you might have. Whether you like something conservative or more out there, he has something that will look good on you. This place is always really clean, I almost never wait (and in the off chance that I do, it's never very long), and he's a really friendly down-to-earth guy with crazy good skills behind the scissors. He's very meticulous too (which I always really appreciate). I've converted several friends over to Alex, and they've never been anywhere else since.
