They pretty much sent us away right when we walked in the door. We were taken aback. They said, "too busy right now. Come back later." Needless to say we didn't go back.

The worst fill ever....$70...bad shaping, too much powder was used....nails were too thick and 2 nails came off less than 1 week later

I got an amazing gel manicure here. Staff was so friendly and attentive. Even gave a shoulder massage while my nails set. This will be my go to whenever I need my nails done on SSI!

**Best Nail Salon in Glynn County! I have been going to them since they opened 12 years ago. Ken & his wife work very hard and are METICULOUS with their work. Trust me when I say, I have tried every nail salon in Brunswick and Saint Simons Island, RUBY NAIL IS THE BEST.Thank you for keeping us looking beautiful! **??❤️?❤️???

Really wanted to give them 5 stars since this is clearly a family run business and they were trying so hard, but I don't think their acetone was strong enough so getting the gel polish off my nails did not go well. They kept trying though and did a decent enough regular manicure for me instead of putting gel back on. If you are just looking for a quick regular manicure or pedicure or a place to go while on vacation, this salon will do the trick! Especially since the other salons in the area have terrible reviews and the only one with better reviews had over an hour wait. But for gel or dip, lower your expectations a bit. The good - Staff puts in a lot of effort - makes them a business you want to support - Good attention to detail - The place is clean and they line the pedicure tubs in plastic - Massage chairs - Gave a shoulder massage while my nails were drying - Easy to walk in and get service The neutral - There were only 2 people working so each worked on multiple customers at once - not a big deal and appreciate the hustle but if you're in a hurry, it does take longer - I couldn't tell if the tools were sterilized before they used them on me - They used magazines to minimize clean up - good for going green! But was a little surprised - Everyone that came in was visiting / new to the salon and I didn't see any regulars in 2 hours of being there - Their kids were playing video games (with headphones on) in the back, not a biggie but the salon was pretty quiet so all you could hear was kid voices coming from the back - if they just close the door or turn up the background noise, you'd barely be able to tell The not so great - If you need to soak off your gel polish, the acetone is not strong enough. I soaked for almost an hour and they still had to use the electric nail drill to get off all the extra gel. This usually takes 15 mins at my home salon. I considered leaving at many moments. - Went to town on my cuticles and clipped more skin than necessary - The polishes are pretty disorganized and there are no swatches of the gel or dip so you have to guess on color based on the bottle and some of the polishes are separating and need a good shake (they did have a cool nail polish mixer if you do pick a shade like this). OPI color selection is more limited but they do have bubble bath! - They don't pick up the phone (I tried multiple times), so you just have to stop in and hope the wait isn't too long - The nail files were previously used - They didn't have any disposable flip flops so I had to walk around barefoot - The girl next to me got dip powder and it looked decent but a little too thick and uneven

Went in with my mom and sister on the weekend of the Fourth of July, there were two ladies ahead of us, but we were greeted and seated quickly for our pedi. The lady giving the pedicure was so good—she made sure everything was how I liked it and gave a very nice massage. They even gave my sister a shoulder rub after her french tips. Very impressed with the cleanliness and thoroughness of the salon.Services: Acrylic nails

Great gel mani. Thorough job and friendly nail tech. Clean salon and great location. Will be back while we are snow birding. Would have given 5 stars except for the price. A little high for a mani.

The owner appears friendly, but he is extremely annoying and controlling. Constantly making demands and chastising you for not being "relaxed". He takes shortcuts and doesn't do nails the right way. He used a magazine under my nails instead of towels to remove the SNS polish, making a huge mess. He didn't trim my cuticles and left polish around my fingers. The place also has an unpleasant odor and very few color options. SNS usually lasts 3 - 4 weeks for me, but it only lasted a week and a half when I got it here. He has no idea how to do SNS manicures. He skipped too many steps and claimed it "wasn't necessary" - WRONG!
