Golf cart wasn’t in good shape. Large Speaker in roof kept falling down and we kept having to stop and put it back in - almost hit our heads. Brakes were very bad. Had to use two feet and lots of force way before an intersection to get cart to stop. Wouldn’t start two days of our week rental. Kept blaming us for problem. Asked them to just pick up cart and refund our money. They sent two smaller newer carts for our last two days - but never refunded for two days we didn’t have use of a cart. And now won’t return text or calls.

We rented a six person golf cart for a week. The cart was not in good shape. The large speaker in the roof kept falling down and we had to keep stopping and putting it back in. Almost fell on our heads multiple times. The brakes were so bad. My husband had to use both feet to stop the cart and we stopped way before an intersection just in case! Two days the cart wouldn't even start. They sent someone out to recharge it, kept blaming us for leaving something on. Which we weren't. After the second time we asked them to just come pick up the bad cart and return our money. Instead they brought us two smaller but much nicer carts for the remaining two days of our trip. However, after many texts and phone calls we are now not hearing from them as we feel strongly we are due back some money for the two days we were not able to use a cart at all that we paid for and the bad cart/hassle of it all!

Highly recommend using high tide! The golf cart was super nice compared to other gold carts we have used on the island in the past. Communication with the staff was exceptional- fast and reliable. Will be using them again!

Been using High Tide Carts for the past couple years now. Always a great experience. They always text to confirm leading up the visit and send pictures upon delivery prior to our arrival.

Bad business practices. The manager accepted our rental and charged our credit card for a one day rental for an impromptu trip. She then called back to cancel and stated that she was giving the cart to a previous rental customer that was supposed to start their rental the next day, but wanted to pick it up early. What? You had made a commitment to us, also a customer to rent the cart for the day? Then she tried to justify giving our cart away by stating that the other customer had placed a reservation 3 months in advance. Really? They hadn't reserved it for the day that she charged us for.Stating that you are refunding and canceling our reservation doesn't cut it as we have people in our party with back problems. This cart was needed and paid for when she canceled on us.Go to Island Carts, much better service and they honor their commitments.

Best owners! We saw so much more on the cart than our vehicle. Great prices!! I called them late in the day and they were able to meet our needs since our reservations were cancelled for another event we had signed up for. You won't regret getting a cart! I recommend at least an entire day rental!
