Great place to visit before seeing the sights in the Golden Isles. Make sure to visit the Spirit Tree outside.
The Golden Isle Convention and Visitors Center operates two welcome centers: one off of I-95 just north of exit 38, and one on St. Simons Island in Pier Village on Beachview Drive. The St. Simons Welcome Center also includes the Live Oak Shop, which features Golden Isles merchandise and items from local artisans. At both Welcome Centers you will find friendly, knowledgeable staff who are ready to help you have a fabulous stay in the Golden Isles.
