I want to be clear, and I want to be fair. Cashiers should not be disposable/expendable, and self check-out should not be the only option for customers especially when the self check-out kiosks are "Card Payments Only/No Cash Accepted/No Cash Back". This has been the experience during my last three visits, and I will not be going back because if I wanted to be a cashier at Whole Foods - I would have applied.I have been a loyal customer to this location for years, but it saddens me to see this store location ( or maybe the company overall ) follow suit of all the other big box stores silently eliminating cashiers under the veil of "for your convenience" ; "COVID-19" ; "Staff Shortages"; etc. I visited this location most recently on September 19th, and was in awe that there was not ONE lane open or a cashier in sight. This has been the case the past few times I have visited, during the hours at which I grocery shop. Then, as I begrudgingly walked to self-check-out I saw the "Cash Only" sign.At that moment, I thought of Atlanta Lawmaker at City Hall, Antonio Lewis, who introduced legislation seeking to require businesses to continue accepting cash. "It's like discrimination. We have people who may not have a card. Or may not have enough left on their card, but can pay in cash"At that moment, I thought of my mother who is disabled, and going the grocery store is the one last few dignities she has. Then having that dignity taken away as she learns she has to scan & bag her own groceries @ machines that don't take cash - cash being the only method of payment she has access to.At that moment, I thought of the elderly woman who was in front of me @ CVS who didn't understand how to use their self-check-out kiosk so I had to help her.The workers watching you during self-check-out , making sure you do your job ( or their job ) correctly, are nice though (o_0)However, there is nothing convenient about spending hundreds of dollars on groceries, then having to scan, bag, and deliver them to your own car ( the latter is normal, but not when you add scan & bag ). I've been a cashier before, but I never applied to be a cashier at Whole Foods ( or any other store); and I never walk in thinking how great it's going to be to scan, pay, and bag my own groceries. The customer experience and customer service bar is on the floor at this point. This is not customer obsession. I am the customer providing their own customer service - and that's sad.

This location is in decline since I left in 2015. Better hot bar today. Yesterday all dinner meals were in a pan of grease or overcooked and dried out. Salad bar always seems fresh. Like the juice bar, one of the few that has a bar. Service is really great.

I only shop in the prepared foods section. As I personally think many of their groceries are overpriced (several items I get regularly from Kroger I checked here out of curiosity and every item was more $ here than Kroger for the exact same product). They have a pretty good hot bar that is $11.99/pound. As well as another prepared food section where you can get a chicken entree + 2 sides for $12 (seafood or beef is $14). Everything we’ve tried so far has been very tasty! We grab meals from here occasionally to save time in the kitchen!

This one star has nothing to do with cleanliness or quality. It has to do with quality of service. I walked in on a weekday at 8:30am when the store was not busy at all. I passed every bit of 8 employees as I walked around the store and each one looked me in my face and not one said good morning or asked if I needed help with anything. For me that matters. Customer Service matters. And you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Everybody here is really nice with one exception! I came Friday morning and got breakfast for the first time and waited to pick up my amazon packages. Some had arrived, some hadn't but everything was fine and like I said, everybody was nice! Fast forward to Saturday morning. Completely different experience! Everybody was nice except for the woman at the Amazon counter! Terrible! Her attitude leaves much to be desired and she needs badly to be retrained! You work in the service industry! If you don't like your job, find a different one! I'm gonna try my best to never come in the morning just to make sure I don't have to deal with her again!

I went to Whole Foods while in Atl for my 2 daughters birthday I went to this location to pick up a Cake to share with them for their birthday I knew it was last minute and wasn’t expecting anything over the top just wanted a basic cake with her name on it walked in asked the gentleman in the bakery department if he could write her name on it and he stated that he could as well as write happy birthday it was only an 8in Berry Chantilly Cake so I was worried about not having enough room for that much writing he assured me he could so I agreed he handed me back the cake and thankfully I opened the box before cashing out because the hand writing was terrible you couldn’t even make out what was written so I took it back to him and explained the situation and he tried to correct it but sadly his hand writing is not one that should be use to write on a cake I explained to him to just leave it blank and I would find a cake topper for it I did try to speak to a manager about the situation and explain to her my issue and that they can’t offer a service and it not be up to at least a decent standard or not offer the service at all she was less than helpful but Ms.Latanya was amazing she helped me look for a cake topper unfortunately they didn’t have any so I just got some candles she definitely made me feel like my opinion mattered and that what happened was unacceptable I wasn’t looking for a discount or anything for free I simply just wanted to make them aware of the situation because just imagine if I would have took that cake back to the hotel my daughter would have been so disappointed thank you again to Ms.Latanya without you I would have just left that cake there and went somewhere else.

Stopped in to drop off an Amazon package and decided to grab a bit to eat. The pizza was sooo good. Made in a fire brick oven. The crust was crisp with just the right chew. The slices were huge at 2 for $7.99, so good price. My kids got cookies which were good as well.

First time stepping foot in a Whole Foods in my entire life, and I was really impressed! A high-end grocery market with a large variety of products. The price point definitely matches the quality of the store and product. Staff members were very friendly, and quick to make our pizza! Definitely a great location too!

I had the worse experience at whole foods I ever had. I called the whole foods about 10:45 to order 4 pizza piesdifferent varies on 01/24/23 I spoke to Latisa in the pizza ? department she said no problem it will be 45 mins,. I gave her 1 hour, I even called and gave her the heads up to tell her I'm on the way. When I arrived nothing was ready and she made me wait 1 hour more. I was very angry, it seem to be a comedy of errors that day,She keep making mistakes with the pizza throwing them out making them over and she had a nasty attitude towards me because I was angry because I had some angry coworkers that wanted to to eat, and she was doing a terrible job, finally I had the Manager Sam called, he finally admitted the stove was not working very well, that should have been addressed to me 1 hour ago. I left with 3 pizza pies that were burned to the crisp and holes in it. He gave me a $25 give card and that disgusting lousy pizza for free, this was horrible customer service at its best, I am making a corporate complaint as well. This all happened at the Ponce Deleon Location, near Ponce City Market.Ms A Lewis.,

I don’t normally buy hot food when I shop at Whole Foods but something in my spirit told me to stop and get some fried chicken today. Who ever cooked this chicken deserves a raise! His/her ancestors seasoned it themselves! This is the chicken the usher board cook for the church on first Sunday after service! The chicken that’s got the congregation praying in the pews that pastor hurry up and get through with his sermon! * hallelujah* Who ever fried the chicken today at the Whole Foods located at 650 Ponce De Leon deserves a raise lord. Amen!
