The Openmind Center has always been my one stop shop for my metaphysical findings. Recently my Classmates and I held an all day event. Want to thank the entire staff for sharing space. They were attentive and provided us with many accommodations. I look forward to more events at Open Mind!

I love the peaceful atmosphere in this store! I was also amazed at how big the location is and what a great selection of products they have! My first time visiting, I found purpurite- which I haven't been able to find around Atlanta for years!I really appreciate that whenever I visit and ask for help, the people that work here really take their time to listen and help me as much as they can no matter how busy it is.And I just found out how many events they have going on, and I'm really excited to go to one soon!

Recently, I was talking with a friend about the new year and what I wanted for myself. She told me about the Open Mind Center and an upcoming Cacao Ceremony/ Sound Bath event she was going to and invited me along. I looked on their website to learn more as I was unfamiliar with what this was. I looked at the description and as soon as I saw the words ‘inner peace’, ‘open heart’ and ‘healing’, I knew this is what I had been looking for.We arrived about 15 mins early and laid down our yoga mats. The room was super tranquil with flowers and mood lighting…..I immediately felt relaxed. Our instructor Crissy (who is so warm and lovely) started the ceremony by giving some details about what to expect and the background of Cacao. As we received our cacao drink, we were encouraged to visit with our neighbors and share why we were there and what intentions we wanted to set for the new year. I’m very comfortable around people I know, however, it can be sometimes I feel a bit shy/awkward starting conversations with people I don’t know. The people around me were so warm and lovely that I found myself really opening up and sharing. It truly felt like community.After we were finished with our cacao, Crissy asked us to lay down, get comfortable and focus on our intentions. Then the sound bath magic started. This was my first sound bath and OMG, I felt like I was being transported into another realm. I didn’t think I would be good at any kind of mediation since my brain never stops, but I truly experienced something I’ve never felt. Complete calm and ease. I let myself go and I unlocked a part of my brain and heart that had been hidden away. For me, it was amazing. I walked away from the experience feeling renewed and ready to take life on.In addition to the event and the amazing Crissy (+ her partner who was helping out), the whole staff was truly wonderful and i can’t wait to explore more of what The Open Mind Center has to offer. I realized that I am worth the journey. And so are you.

I have visited several metaphysical businesses around the states and this one is definitely in my top 3. Staff was so helpful and comfortable to speak with. The shop and set up does a great job showing what they have to offer as well as providing information for people to see and take with them. I originally went in for camphor, which unfortunately was not there but I walked out with a few books and mindful jewelry. Will be coming back soon for a cord cutting and other services
