My daughter had her birthday party there yesterday. This was the most amazing time ever! From the lovely signs guiding everyone easily in, to the cute room and set up, the ease of the party itself (they did EVERYTHING) this was a great experience!!! Mr. Bruce....our Naturalist who lead the event....was the most lovely. patient, fun, educational, man ever!!! My daughter had the best time, as did her friends. The adults who stayed also loved the experience! The Center is a jewel. The party blew away any expectations I could have had. It was fun. educational, and environmentally friendly. I joined the Center at end because this place is amazing. I can't wait to come to all the cool future events they offer!!!

We were able to visit with free tickets from our local library. We'll definitely return, though, because the rates are reasonable and it's very much worth it.We loved the butterfly exhibit. I also didn't know that they had zip lining here, so we can't wait to come and try that out.We spent almost 2hrs walking around and taking our time. You could definitely spend a little more bc there's just that much to read and learn about. It's both in and outdoors and wheelchair accessible. It's great for kids and adults. Highly recommended

We held our daughter's birthday party here and it was a great day. The Naturalist that assisted us was very informative and kept the kids entertained and interested. We got a close up look and learned about an opposum and a screech owl. The kids also kid a nature scavenger hunt followed by a huge and yummy cookie cake. The whole experience was a hit.

Educational nature center that focuses on outside activities & promoting exploration. We attended their Adventure Day which allowed families to explore Canoeing, Archery, & many outside activities. My daughter was very thrilled to be outside & fit inside a canoe with both my husband & myself. There seems to be several restrooms located all throughout the premise which is important to cool off or change diapers. The gift shop carries snacks, popsicles, sun screen, books, water & I believe has an emergency section. Personnel were all friendly & helpful.Their gift shop is small but carries thoughtful items for purchase. We picked up a few hats against the shade but I wished there was more children's options or selections for hat wear.

Amazing nature spot! They added a boardwalk and a walking bridge; there are kayaking classes, educational events, butterfly pavilion, aviary, beaver, and even music Thursdays. We live close by and visit often.

Drove by the boardwalk and thought it looked like a pretty cool place. Little did I know this is one of the best Nature Centers I've ever been to. I was expecting a short walk along the river, but I got animal habitats, indoor nature exhibits, plenty of walking trails, and one of the most thriving ecosystems I've ever seen! I absolutely recommend a vist here!

Beautiful spot! I spent a half day here with my 2.5 year old - we went to Storytime in the pavilion, walked the wildlife loop, and the wetlands boardwalk. The man in the welcome center was very helpful since it was our first time. Locals - check your library to see if they have a CNC family pass you can check out!

Tremendous nature center dedicated to preserving wildlife and educating folks here in Roswell. They have a Discovery center with lots of child friendly activities. The main feature is a trading station where kids can do things get points and earn shells and other nature items. Butterflies and turtles and toads are on display. Significantly the aviaries feature raptors. Beautiful. They rehab 800 and more per year. Staff are friendly and informed. Great place!

I have been wanting to go to this nature center since moving to the area. Boy was I disappointed. I attended their Christmas BazAr on a raining Saturday morning. After walking through the market and feeling unwelcome, I decided to walk the trails. That was a mistake, the smell, the sad animal exhibits, the smell. It was throughly depressing and I left within the hour of arriving.

We had the pleasure of staying overnight at the Chattahoochee Nature Center with the scouts this past weekend, and it was awesome! The kids loved it, it rained and was still enjoyable. The staff there was great, and did inform us that they also host birthday parties here. We were able to see the animals they have there which was really cool! Definitely looking forward to coming back, and having my boys birthdays here this upcoming spring. Go check them out, tell them Eric Berry your GA Realtor sent you.

The ? are just one of many amazing things to do there! The boardwalk has incredible views of the marsh and river. Try to arrive right when they open around 10 am before the Summer Campers arrive and to see the ? during the summer and before it gets too hot. We wish it was open past 5 pm - It's so wonderful for families and it’s so beautiful in the afternoon/when the sun sets!

Watch out for the big black snake! :)The Nature Center is a great place for kids to visit and for a nice walk in the woods or around water. I enjoyed the exhibits and talking to the naturalists and volunteers. The live animal/bird habitats were cool. There were pretty flowers (I was there in mid-August) and nice landscaping in places. There were surprises around every turn seemed like from the bat 'cave' made out of an old tree to pop-up seating next to a trail. The big black snake lives in the park and he is seen from time to time. If you give him space and walk away from his head he will usually slither away from you. He's not a reason to stay away!
