“Living in TN this Costco is close. I get gas each time I go to pick up groceries or prescriptions. The experience is okay as gas stations go. The wait time is minimal now that more pumps are added. The staff person working around the pumps has always been helpful and friendly. Thank you for keeping the area neat and the vehicles rolling through.”

“I travel a very, very long way to use Brainerd Pharmacy. With a chronic health issue I've had to take prescribed medications for about 25 years. I've lived in 7 states and had to use many many different pharmacies. They ranged from good, OK, and then pull my hair out from frustration bad. For me, Brainerd Pharmacy has been the very best of ALL of them. They turn a necessary errand into a pleasant experience that makes it well worth the hour & 20 minute drive. I feel like I am valued, listened to, respected. Most of all they are sincerely dedicated to make sure that I receive the very highest standard of care. I enthusiastically recommend this Pharmacy whether you get regular monthly prescriptions or only when someone is sick.”

I’ve moved a few times over the last 20 years so I’ve been to many FC pharmacies (I have chronic illness, so unfortunately I’m in at least twice a month), and they’re all consistent when it comes to kindness, promptness, helpfulness, etc., but this one in particular is something else! I’m going to miss this crew….
They’ve never once made me feel stupid for asking questions, they never show it when (if) they were (probably) irritated when I didn’t have insurance and would call, trying to get meds with the little bit of money I had. They’d take the time to hunt for coupons and discount cards so I could get my meds and they genuinely cared and showed true compassion and kindness without judgement.
I even called them at 6:55pm one evening telling them I was 9 minutes away and begging them to wait on me bc I was out of my medication and they closed at 7. They were so kind and told me to pull up and knock on the window and they’d have them sitting out, ready for me. Would Walgreens or CVS do that for someone? No. No, they absolutely wouldn’t. They’d be rude and more than likely not even answer the phone.
Anyway, there’s something a bit different with this particular Food City (even though they’re all wonderful), and I compare this crew to nice neighbors who are always offering help to anyone in need. lol I’m going to miss them. A lot. I moved to another area of town and it’s just too hard to get there (on time lol), and I know this sounds ridiculous but I wanted to share it bc these people are absolutely amazing! All of them. I haven’t had anyone at all ever be rude or made me feel rushed. They go above and beyond every day for me and others and I am so grateful for the 6ish years I’ve been going to them and I truly hope the next Food City Pharmacy staff is at least half as wonderful as these amazing people have been to me.
Thank you so much for all that you “SuperStars” do: your kindness, helpfulness without judgment, giving each patient the individual time you can see that they need, not signing loudly and rolling your eyes when we ask questions (you’d be surprised at how many WG and CVS staff I’ve seen do this….that and completely ignoring people and not even acknowledging them til they’re done with whatever they’re doing {I know pharmacies are busy and have a LOT of responsibilities but an acknowledgment that they see us isn’t too much to ask for… or maybe it is at Big Box Pharmacies?}), but never has that ever happened to me at this FC, and I am so grateful for everything you ALL have done for me over the years, and the kindness you’ve shown me. ❤️”

None of this "big box" pharmacy's that aren't even interested in your name.... They just expect you to drop off your prescription and come back hours later. We all know that's how it is now. Not here.Well, at Rapid RX, you can still feel like you have a name attached to services. You can feel like their own family.I challenge anyone to try Rapid RX, and not feel like just a number. You do have a name. You do need your prescription filled as you wait. You do still deserve "old fashion" treatment and respect.”
