I thought it was a reliable bank but turns out that I need to change banks. No one really wanted to help me when it came to unnecessary bank fees being taken out. Such a disappointment

Very incompetent staff (15 years experience) and manager. Cannot follow a simple customer request. Manager did not try to resolve but clearly made excuses for individual. When a staff member makes an error that affects a customers livelihood, an experienced and good manager will go above and beyond to take care of a customer at no cost. This experience definitely shows the lack of compassion and competency of this manager. Apparently the teller chooses to do things her way ( with her 15 years experience) than the way the customer requests their transaction to be done. Poorly ran Branch.

So I went To the truest bank that just opened on Shorter Avenue in Rome to open a new account. Little did I know that truest is just a merger of SunTrust and BB&T Banks. When I sit down to open an account the sales leader at this Branch said that I already had account but he can tell me anything about the account but it was closed due to inactivity. I told him it must have been like 15 years ago because I don't remember having a bank account with BB&T but I can go ahead and pay any balance that might be due on that account. He told me that he couldn't help me or open the account until I called their 1-800 number to get that account closed. So yesterday was Monday and walking out of the bank I dialed the number and it said the wait time was 45 minutes. So I just forgot about it until this morning which is Tuesday and it's around 8:46 in the morning I tried calling again hoping that the wait time would be less and now it's 50 minutes to 1 hour wait time. It just seems like this bank doesn't have its stuff together..Why do i have to be on hold for ahour so i can get permission for you to handle my money. Even the sales leader said that he wasn't going to call because of the wait times and that's why he gave me the number. Just bad business

This staff always goes above and beyond. Specifically, Elda Carrasco. She's an incredible manager. Due to a brush with Covid, she came out to the parking lot to notarize some documents for me. And she's always doing stuff like that. The level of service is above anything I've ever received from any bank branch anywhere. It's astounding.

1:10 pm. ATM very busy. When my turn came, it was "out of order". Brinks had shown up and I guess had taken it DOWN with 3 people standing in line. UGH!!!!#%@!&€£
