Gas pump I tried to use didn't work. Moved to another pump. It worked but did not print a receipt. But, several gas stations I've used in the past and lately, the receipts do not print.

I stopped in with a rental truck to get gas before returning it. I went in and explained to the cashier that I didn't know how much gas I needed I just had to put enough in to raise the gas hand to the same level it was when I got rented the truck. She told me that I had to tell her the amount before pumping the gas. Well, I could tell that I had already placed more on her than her mind could grasp before lunch. I asked her how I was to know the exact amount it would take to get the gas gauge to the same point it was on when I rented it? She had more than she could process at one time so she stepped back a few steps and knocked on the wall 3 or 4 times. Well, it wasn''t the genie I had hoped for, it was however, the manager. I explained my situation to her and right away she seemed to know exactly what I needed. Straight away she turned the pump on and suddenly life had meaning to it again. I was able to fuel my rental truck and return it. Watch what kind of situation you put upon the morning cashier if you go there. If you get the same one I did then she is a bit slow on the difficult decisions early in the day.
