I called the pharmacy three different times. First time, no one would answer for 21 minutes. I called again, the second time, no one would answer for over 14 minutes. The last and final call, was over 10 minutes. Still no answer. I drive there and go inside to see several employees laughing, leaning around while on their cell phone. Can someone please make this make sense of why no one can answer a patient's call? I will, NEVER, and I mean, NEVER do ANY kind of business with a company like this! I work too hard to be a treated like this. Especially when I'm a paying customer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHARMACY OR STORE TO ANYONE!!!!!

Went inside where a sign showed open 8am - 8pm. However, they were closed for lunch with no signs letting you know when they would return. When I returned I stood at the drop off counter as no less than 4 associates looked right at me and said nothing. This is a management issue. The culture is horrible. Customers are MUCH more understanding when busy associates say, Thank you for choosing Kroger Pharmacy, we will be with you momentarily. This is a 2 week fix and it would fix morale and customer service.I do want to praise Michelle who rung me up. She was very helpful.

They always seem to be understaffed, but are generally friendly and helpful. Don’t waste your time calling to see if your prescription is in. No one ever answers the phone.

Usually shop at Publix but decided to give Rome Kroger a try. What a mistake! Empty shelves and only 2 registers open. Lines backed up because the poor cashiers were also having to bag groceries! I bagged my own today to help this nice lady out. I can honestly say I have never had to bag my groceries at Publix! Kroger needs new management!

I received a text today stating that I have medicine available to pick up from a doctor I’ve never seen. I have been trying to call them to let them know and cannot get them to answer the phone. Not sure how on my prescription app this medicine is listed with my name as being prescribed today with a doctor I have never visited. Just trying to correct someone’s mistake is becoming a chore.

Kroger pharmacy is ridiculous!! I’m in drive thru and car has moved twice in 20 min. They must implement policy of picking up what’s ready. Shouldn’t take this long. They even pulled closed sign down just as it was my turn.

I’ve used the Kroger pharmacy for over a decade and the service has precipitously declined in just the past year. I think the customers have been pretty understanding about the pandemic, as every business is suffering the same issues. There is no excuse for the repeated complaints about going to pickup a prescription after getting a call or email that it’s ready, waiting in line an eternity, just to be told they haven’t even started on it. Very frustrating when you have to wait an hour in line, then another few hours, then another hour in line. This is a pharmacy, doling out medication to people in need, get it together Kroger.

My Dr sent my prescription in to them yesterday morning. Went to pick it up over 24 hrs later and they have not even started filling it yet. What an inconvenience for me having to go back out and pick up again. I think I'm changing pharmacies. I have never had this experience with any pharmacies before in my life. This is rediculius.

The pharmacy staff are friendly people who are compassionate and hardworking competing against impatience. I get what its like working a job under the pressure of tailgating deadlines, and a sometime irrationally rude impatient clientele. Its not their fault that the insurance someone pays hundreds of dollars for each month doesn’t cover the medicines they need. They even try to give out coupons for those in need. So, yes there is a long wait sometimes, because they are doing what they can for a lot of people.

call in a refill, receive call that it's ready, arrive to pick it up, wait in super long lines, only to be told it's not actually ready. they seriously have signs taped up asking customers not to yell at the staff because they don't want to lose them. at this point I don't see the difference between having zero staff and a staff of zeros. harsh, yes...true, also yes. Kroger should stick with just groceries.

I had wondered why the ratings for this pharmacy were so poor. I typically think people are too quick to judge and don't consider the people on the other side of the counter. I spent years as a cashier in college, so I try to take their side whenever possible. My experience started as usual, but I called ahead of time to make sure the drive through line was open as it had been closed due to staffing issues. I called at 4:45, and was advised that the drive-thru was open. Excellent, because I have 3 small children, and did not want to have to take then in if possible. I drive to the store, get in the long line at 5:10, and proceed to wait. The drive thru always takes a bit of time, so that was to be expected. I finally made it to the window at 5:35, relieved that I made it before their posted 6:00pm close time for the pharmacy. However, the pharmacy has a paper sign on the window advising the window closes at 5:30. There are no posted visual signs anywhere that the drive thru hours that can be seen from a vehicle, or that the hours differ from the actual pharmacy hours. The lady greated me at the window and advised the window is closed, but I was welcome to come in. As disappointed that I wasted my time in the line for nearly 30 minutes, I simply pulled around and hauled my crew inside. Thankfully, inside there was not much of a line. I got to the window, the same lady was there to assist me. After a couple minutes, she has the prescriptions for me and I've paid, and I'm ready to go. She tells me to have a good evening. Before leaving, I gave the feedback that some type of notice needed to be posted outside from the line so people didn't sit in the line for no reason (there were at least 5 cars behind me, not sure how many because the line typically wraps around the corner of the building). To this request, her response was again "have a good evening." There was no apology, no I understand your concern, not even a thank you for the feedback, I'll let my manager know." Any of those would have been fine. It was a repeated "have a good day," as if to say "get out of here, no one cares." Hearing you loud and clear, so I'll make my request known myself that if your hours are going to differ, they need to be presented in an appropriate manner. I went out of my way to call and make sure the drive thru was available, it wasn't, then I was treated as if I meant nothing to your business. I would give 0 stars for this interactions if I could. Everyone is hiring if you don't want to try to be polite in a customer service role.

? Again over 13 people in line ahead and more behind. Absolutely the slowest pharmacy in Rome Georgia. Their phone system is not any better. Most of their help is friendly but their system is rubbish. 3 have left while in here reviewing this. If my patient did not need this today I would not be here either. I have been here over an hour and it's obvious that's the way they get paid. Be forwarded but from reading through the other reviews this is an ongoing issue. #Kroger really.
