I had a series of unfortunate events that happened with my previous car that prompted me to buy a vehicle. I have had family and friends do business with Shottenkirk, so i decided to give them a shot. I was nervous to start the process until i began working with Heath. He is by far the most down to earth salesmen I have ever worked with. He really makes you feel at ease and comfortable. He is not pushy, he is straight to the point, and he doesn't play the unnecessary games that waste your time. Heath is nice, very knowledgeable about ALL the Vehicles on the lot, and professional. Any question you ask, he has an answer with an explanation EVERYTIME. He truly cares about the customer. You are not just another dollar sign walking through the door. Heath went above and beyond to not only get me a new vehicle, but he was able to get me in the vehicle I wanted from the start. Business was so easy and smooth with him that I have referred several clients his way. I will definitely be doing business with him in the future. I really do hope he is rewarded for his work ethic, helpfulness, and hospitality. Thank You Heath for all your help! If you need a vehicle, ask for Heath! He is the real deal!

The appointment I made was not honored. We had to hike across to the detail shop to see the car we were interested in. I felt like I had to pursue them and that they didn't care about my business. We went to Kennesaw and got the car we wanted and were taken care of promptly.

The purchase of my 2023 year model vehicle was the very worst retail experience I have ever had. The above one star rating is only because they do not offer a zero star rating. My story all boils down to the sales managers incompetence, his inability to follow up after he knew of my disappointment and him and his staff for their lack of product knowledge. Numerous follow up phone calls only added to my anger and disappointment when they were ignored. This is not a good company to do business with locally or if you were like me and drove four hours because you found what you “supposedly” wanted on the Internet. Don’t disappoint yourself. Stay far far away from this dealership.

Bought a car from here, certified pre-owned, less than 10k miles on it. Initially I was happy with my purchase.The salesman promised free oil changes for a set period of time which would be reciprocal at other dealerships.When I took it to my local dealer they told me it was NOT covered for free oil changes. I called the Shottenkirk dealership to clarify and they gave me the runaround, promised multiple times to call me back and never did. Finally on my 4th call I was able to speak to a manager and he basically told me that they couldn't help me.So I ended up taking my car to Walmart for an oil change and the staff there tell me there was a leak! Apparently the service department at Shottenkirk didn't properly install a drain bolt. So I had to take it back to my local dealer who took care of it, but of course was much more expensive (and I should not have to pay for it at all).So just watch out, because they either don't know what they are talking about (best case scenario) or they straight lied to me, and the service department is lacking.Also the place was dirty and they left someone's vape in my new car ?

**CHEATS & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ** Although they replaced my alternator, it took 2 days longer than they'd promised. The service advisor (Russ) never got back to me as promised. I was quoted 3 different prices for the same job. When I asked for an itemization of the charges,I discovered that they attempted to cheat me by charging me 3.5 hours labor ($165 per hr) for the job when AllData (the same database that the service techs use from the OEM that tells them the labor times and replacement procedures) stated 2 hrs, When I inquired about the 1.5 hour labor discrepancy, they didn't really have an explanation but told me that they would adjust it, but then the part price for the alternator kept changing. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, neither of the service advisors acknowledged my presence, greeted me, offered to assist, or even make eye contact after I walked in (kept their heads down like they were busy) - I was the only customer present. When I looked over the service invoice, I noticed that the labor hadn't been corrected and that the multi-point inspection was noted as "recommended " and not performed. When I pressed them in the fact that this was to be done each time the vehicle was brought in for service, the advisor told me that it had been done and showed me some different form. I insisted that the service invoice also reflect this for accuracy. He told me he couldn't change it. When I persisted, he got the service manager to override it. By the time I got the final bill for c the total job, I'd been quoted 3 different prices for the same job. They eventually corrected the labor time on my invoice, but ONLY because I pressed the issue. They are dishonest as they would have overcharged me had I not mentioned that I had access to AllData and that I knew that the replacement labor time they were attempting to charge me was inaccurate, etc. How many customers who do not have access to AllData have been overcharged and CHEATED for service???? They ignore customers, don't identify themselves when they answer the phone, will not reach out to you when they say they will, and will CHEAT you if you don't know the right questions to ask, or know what to look for. Two days before my car was ready I inquired about a courtesy wash. I spent over $1100 for service, and they wouldn't do it without charging a fee for it?????I brought my overall experience and the matter of inflated labor time to the attention of the service manager who listened, but given his blank stare, I had no confidence that anything will change at Shottenkirk. I am new to the area and always take my car to the dealer for service, I will drive to a dealer farther away for better and honest service. I won't be back.

Great buying experience!! We found the car we were looking for on their website. I stopped by and spoke to Trevor. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions regarding the vehicle. Cody walked us through the financing and paperwork. Everyone that I spoke to at the dealership was friendly, helpful, and professional.

Stay far away from the Hyundai service and Hyundai side. Heritage was a good dealership unfortunately that’s ruined by Shottenkirk, the whole reason we went to heritage over the “dealership” Shottenkirk is. Don’t buy anything here if you have issues “they cannot replicate them” yet they are very prevalent. Seems I’m not the only one with the issues as someone just bought a truck from them that was rusted out, spray painted , heard others say it took 4 times for them to fix the o2 sensors and the transmission issues they had were nothing, they took it to another place and low and behold their transmission was shot. Leaving as soon as possible, regret my purchase from the Hyundai side

Second time writing this review, the other one disappeared or was deleted, wouldn't put it past shottenkirk. But stay far away from this Hyundai dealership. The Cartersville Honda location YoYo'd a customer. Now this one the shop has not seen a issue after THREE times to fix it. The first time they just claimed it was a update, ok. The same day it was doing the same transmission issue, the second time they found it was the Transmission, they only replaced the Clutch due to Hyundai USA only allowing that, okay that's fine if it fixes the issue after leaving the car a little over a month. Went two-three months and bam, same issue as before, so we bring it back, it was there another month (mind you this was purchased last July, 2 of the 12 months we owned it it was in the "shop". Next thing we get a call, they couldn't replicate it due to it not throwing any codes, so unless we drive with someone then they won't do anything, didn't even look at the transmission, a month in a loaner for nothing again. The last time they found the transmission issues it was not throwing codes, lo and behold they found it was the transmission during a test not plugging in a reader. 3 times to fix ONE issue and still is unfixed, the car was returned with it STILL doing the same issue. We bought it when it was heritage to avoid shottenkirks shotty practices but as it seems we couldn't escape them. We well be purchasing everything anywhere else but here. It's a shame as this was a great dealership but it has gone down the drain. I'm not the only one either.

I bought a car from Heritage before it was bought out. Not long after, the car started having engine problems but Heath always made sure we were taken care of and in a rental for the duration of our car being worked on. Now that shottenkirk has taken over, they have been nothing but rude. Told me and my husband that we needed to call and deal with the warranty and that we were not priority since we didn't have a Hyundai. I will be looking for another way to get the warranty work done. There is no reason we should be treated this way.

I had a lease car. Mr Bearden, Heath explained how I would save by buying. He put me in just what I needed. Heath is very polite and took time explaining it to me. I never felt pressured. We are very satisfied with the new car and will recommend Mr. Bearden to my friends. Thank you.

Went to test drive a Honda accord. Heath at Hyundai helped us and he was the best salesman I’ve ever dealt with. Very respectful, knowledgeable. Definitely will be buying from him in the future for my future purchases. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Repaired a vehicle for this dealership well over a month ago and we've never been paid. Over $6,000 owed to us and "Rock" and Jeremy are avoiding us everytime we call. Sadly this is what it has come down to. We just want to be paid for work we were asked to do.
