I go to this store a lot. Most people of the time I receive friendly service. Today I went into the store to purchase an item that only costed $1.06. I only have a debit card. I don’t like to carry cash, but occasionally I have some. Today I didn’t have the cash so the lady was willing to lose my business. She could have offered nicely if I wanted to purchase something more than $4.00, but instead she pointed to the sign and didn’t say a word. I have been physically sick for almost a week, nothing contagious, so I didn’t feel like driving all the way in town to another store. I was not happy with the service. I called the store phone and of course she answered. She hung up on me twice because she was “too busy to speak with me”. The third time she answered and told me “what’s wrong with you lady I told you if you have a problem to call back when the owner was here”. Needless to say I wasn’t being rude with her or anything. She just seemed unconcerned. I don’t understand where the humbleness sets in anymore. I had money for what I was trying to purchase. Why am I being turned away? I ended up buying a whole box of what i was originally purchasing and costed me $15 that I really wasn’t planning on spending. I won’t be back anytime soon. I’ll drive a little farther for respect.
