“They have excellent prices on milk, butter, eggs and some of their cheeses. The produce is fairly cheap, but you have to eat it quickly because it will spoil quickly. As for staple items, it is a hit or miss. For example, cocoa is a "seasonal" item. So this means I have to go to other stores to get other pantry items. They have, however, the fastest cashiers on the planet! And their staff is very sweet and friendly.
The Brdgerton creamer looked interesting.”

“I was most impressed by the produce. It was fresh, firm and unblemished. That means a lot for me as I'm the oddball who likes fruits hard as rocks( peaches, nectarines, pears, plums etc). I don't like soft mushy fruit, but I can find Firm produce here.”
“Ok y'all, it has been about a year since I shopped here. So I decided to go about a week ago. This store has made some major changes. First thing I noticed is the friendly people up front. The store is clean and well organized. I spoke to a young man in the Isle and he helped me find something. He was very nice. Then another man in the freezer section I think he is the one who does the ordering. I was asking about the hot fudge sauce they used to have but alas they no longer have it. But I had an enjoyable experience. If you go, I believe you will agree an A+ is in order!”

“I just moved to Lafayette and this was my first visit to the grocery store to restock the house and fridge - and I don't think I could've asked for a better experience. I think what highlighted it was just the people - they were so kind, friendly, and hardworking. I have been to places where it is so clear the employees hate their jobs or some circumstance in their lives and toxify the environment with that frustration, but these individuals seemed to authentically enjoy being there or at least interacting with and helping the customers. One occurrence that impressed me was I overheard an exchange between an upset customer and clerk in one of the departments who (customer) was very irritated that his order wasn't taken or he wasn't helped. The clerk was so calm, inviting, and understanding, instantly jumping in with friendly social banter and helping him; the speed of his change in mood was remarkable. I was helped by Jan at the counter who couldn't have left a better impression on me as I left the store. She was kind, funny, informative, and accommodating, welcoming me warmly to Lafayette as I left.In terms of the store itself, it is exceptionally clean, well stocked, vibrant, and affordable. As someone who enjoys grocery shopping, I had a field day inside. I venture anyone would have a hard time thinking of items the store doesn't carry than does. My only disappointment was the lack of vegan options such as lunch meat, but that's a very minor thing in the shadow of the whole experience. I cannot wait to go back.”
“Sub sandwich is outstanding! A plate from the hot bar is a great go to for home cooking. Rotisserie chicken,turkey,pork best of all gro stores! Also have a good clean salad bar.I take plates to the homebound and the nutrition and quality plus taste. The affordable price can't be beat. Best employees ♡♡♡”

“Every time I go to this store, I have a weird interaction with random customers. Example, a few weeks ago I went to the store and there was a customer in a mask, clearly was still on high covid alert. If she could have climbed on top of the freezers to avoid me she would have lol I was walking normally down the isle and she basically hugged the doors on the freezer section to get as far away from me as possible. It was honestly one of the weirdest grocery store moments that I believe I have ever had. If it was a one time thing, I wouldn't think much of it, but I promise you, every time I visit this store it's a new weird thing with random customers and so far they have all been older people (55-70 age range).The store is fine however I do feel like they don't have as much selection as some other stores. The employees are nice, the produce always looks good. My only real complaint with the store is low selection.”
“Typical food city pretty good selection prices are high. Went in to get plums for my girlfriend and a couple other things in the produce was absolutely terrible not worth buying but that's usually not the case. They did have some nice roses so I grabbed the dozen on the way out just because. It's on the way to her place that's why I stopped there. Easy to get in easy to get out.”
“Had to get fuel. Went in to use the restroom and get a drink. The place was clean and nice. The workers were nice and very polite. I enjoyed my visit at this establishment. Will definitely go back when the time permits”

“This is my neighborhood “last minute/oops I forgot/emergency items” shopping spot. It’s so convenient to have in Chickamauga. The employees are ALWAYS attentive, helpful and friendly. I shop here often and have never had a negative customer service experience. The staff always treats me and my children with respect and hospitality. Like all Dollar General stores, they have a huge selection in a small store so it can get a bit cluttered but the staff at this location is always willing to help me find anything I’m looking for.”

“gotta love the dollar general. always a good cheap alternative to having to go to Walmart. always a decent selection and usually always in stock. although, does not always have the bread I need.the staff usually make up the difference, everyone is always friendly and nice to the kids. parking is always good. the only thing negative I will say is sometimes the wait to check out. usually cashier is alone unfortunately.”
“Dollar General is a great place to shop. It has the things Walmart would have, but on a smaller neighborhood store friendly kind of way. Your staff get to know you and know your routines, so they are able to help you better than in such a huge store. I love my neighborhood, DG.”

“The Dollar general store is a very popular store that people enjoy to visit because of the low prices. They offer a wide variety of items including food and other merchandise throughout the store at low prices. The over-the-counter medications are also cheaper than other merchants. The food is limited than a grocery store but many of the items are of much cheaper cost including a wide variety of canned goods spices herbs and popular chips dips and other types of food cheaper than most stores. The store is smaller than other larger chain stores but has a large variety of different goods and merchandise that make may not be in other stores at a low price.”
