“The room had a musty stagnant smell in it. I turned the AC on to see if the smell would go away. I thought it did but when I left the room and came back I could still smell it. I should have asked for a new room but I was so tired I just wanted a shower and to go to bed. I must have gotten used to it, lol.
Room looked clean and the bed was confortable. The full kitchen was nice but did not use it since it was just and overnight stay. I did use it the fridge, glad I had one.
There seems to me some remodeling going on and signs were posted apologizing for the updates, even though I did not see any mess or construction.
I arrived a little early (flight) and I asked if I could check in early, there was a fee for that so I asked if they would hold my suitcase while I grabbed some lunch and they did. It was checked in and tagged, I got a receipt and I was on my way. The staff was nice and so were the amenities (laundromat, gym, putting green, free breakfast).
Talking about breakfast, his morning was a typical continental breakfast, eggs, bacon, French toast sticks, waffles, etc. It was nice but your typical hotel breakfast. Security and overnight gated parking was a plus.
As long as I don’t get a room that smelled like the one I got, I have no problem staying again.
Nearby activities: The airport was the main thing that’s close. Also, the Delta museum.

“Great place to stay, was greeted as soon as I walk in, stay 4 nights and every day they made my bed, and change out the towels in the bathroom, it's trucker friendly also (bobtail only), the have free continental breakfast i recommend the bagels with cream cheese, there is an ihop restaurant walking distance from the hotel, it's right off i-75, and a few restaurants a bit of a walking distance

“Funny thing was we were awakened at 310am by the fire alarm. Everyone is walking down the stairs and outside...we were on the 13th floor. It was a false alarm but it was exicting. This one is a hidden gem.
Safety: There were 2 police officers parked in the lot overnight. It felt safe in the area.
Walkability: There's a Racetrac gas station in walking distance as well as a McDonalds and other eateries.”

“We had no problems with reservations. The front desk receptionist was friendly and helpful. It's close to the interstate but noise was controlled except for the early morning train. Black out curtains kept the room dark. The bed, pillows and bathroom were fine. The room was clean but the furniture was older and the upholstered chair was about ready for a yard sale. Breakfast was better than average. Nice exercise room. We would return.”

“Second time staying here. First time was fantastic. This time a few issues. First the clerk who checked us in had on a shirt that was showing her breasts because the buttons were about to pop. Not very welcoming personally either. Second, this room was not the same as our last one. No great news shower. Then the very nice waitress at the restaurant would disappear for long periods of time. Also the food prices from a year ago were much higher. It is a fantastic location though. Pretty soundproof rooms. We were apparently next to a storage room and that was very loud . No one thought to quietly close the door. All hours of the stay boom!”

“Atlanta airport parking at its best! I highly recommend going to the Atlanta airport Marriott to park your car if you are flying out at ATL. I had to fly to Miami for business. Researched parking options. Found this parking at Mariott!The man in valet was so kind. Abode or Aboud - not sure how to spell his name. But I was very frazzled it was 9:00 a.m. and I drove from Marietta. I needed to get to the airport and this was my first time to use the Marriott Atlanta parking. Abode was so sweet and kind and patient. The parking is very easy you drive up to the valet and they check your receipt and then they let you drive through to park your car in any one of the hundreds of spots (but lots avail) and lock your door and take your keys - that's it. Then when I came back I show the receipt I walk back up there and get my car and leave. Great service! The shuttle was there when I walked back up to catch a ride to ATL airport so went well. No waiting. Very convenient!On way back you catch the shuttle from airport to pick up your car. Great!”
“This is a pretty nice Towneplace! Staff was exceptional and room was clean. The only issue we encountered was there was no hot water at 4 in the morning and our toilet would not flush properly. We were only there for a few hours so it was not a huge deal but I was a little disappointed with not being able to shower after a long day/night of traveling. I felt safe at this location- we arrived past midnight and to get into the parking lot, we had to hit a buzzer and wait for someone in the hotel to let us in. We used the airport shuttle and it was very helpful. Airport is not far- maybe a 10 min drive- but helps when you’re not driving there if you’re not familiar with the area. Shuttle was clean, driver was friendly and trip was short.Overall, this was one of the best Towneplace’s I have stayed at and would stay here again”

“Spent 1 week here to avoid Hurricane Ian, the hotel was very pricey, it would be cheaper if they locked the balcony doors. Very close to the airport and Delta Air Museum, the room was large. That was also my first time in Atlanta and the road was being repaired at the gate, so hopefully the parking is better now than when I visited!”

“Lots of reasons to stay other places, but then you'd be missing an excellent staff, clean rooms and safe area in South Atlanta.I stay there more than most for business and in 2 years of visits I have had 2 minor issues and NEvER an issue the management didn't resolve quickly.Ignore the bad reviews, they are a biased snap shot. I have spent 7600.00 at this hotel franchise alone in 2024 and it was monet well spent.Rooms: The rooms are basic, but functional and clean.Safety: Great area, well lit and 24 hour staff watching the property.”

“I'll attach pictures, but these folx are already above and beyond the couple other hotels I stopped by on my way into town in cleanliness alone. You can tell that the people working here are invested in the place and care about keeping it clean and well maintained, and the amenities and accomodations are above and beyond my expectations for what I paid.
Rooms: the rooms are great!
Nearby activities: the Atlanta Farmers market and Hindu temple are nearby
Walkability: it's on the highway, but there's a couple grocery stores right down the street and I love grocery stores”
