Recently called in because I ordered a new debt card two months ago with an address change, however was informed by the branch manager that a card was never sent out 2 month ago. Asked to speak to a branch manager after getting irate due to this, and was told I was speaking to him, Chris. My account was then CLOSED due to me saying a cuss word, because I was irritated that my card I ordered 2 months ago was never done He hung up on me and when I called back later to try and get my account back THE BRANCH MANAGER SAID: That sounds like a personal problem and hung up on me again. Chris if you’re reading this, I remember when banking was personal, it was called Capital Bank

Twice I have stopped at the ATM for cash. I don't typically have cash so when i get some from an ATM, it's for places that would not typically take my card. This location stocks the ATM with $100 bills which are actually hard to unload at an establishment never mind if you just wanted cash to go junking or go to the hs game SMH.

We moved to the area and decided to open an account recently. I deposited over $1k to open the account, and was told I would have my debit card within 7-10 days. I received it last week and have been trying for literal days to activate it. It can't be done through an automated system, but you have to speak to someone. Waiting literal hours on the phone on hold for it to finally say sorry we can't answer your call 30 mins before close and hangs up on me for the 3rd business day in a row. Still not activated. I have also not been able to access my online banking since I created it even though I am using the confirmed username I wrote down and my correct ssn. And again can't get anyone on the phone. They have my money yet I can't speak to someone to use it. Terrible first impression. I will be going to a branch and pulling my funds to close out the account I just opened two weeks ago. This is not how you do business.

Worst bank ever!! When this was Capital Bank it had such a hometown friendly bank feel- I really miss that. They hold your deposits for DAYS. They are rude and unprofessional. If you point out a mistake- they refuse to fix it- even when you have the proof. If you want a bank with a hometown happy professional feel- keep driving because this is not it!
