Car wash has been broken for some time now.Vacuum hose broken at car wash.(You pay for amenities monthly but nothing seems to work)Gym is dirty.(Floor is not cleaned, equipment doesn’t get cleaned after using, wipes don’t get refilled unless you ask)One machine has been broken for over a month now.Dog park.. More like leave your dogs waste in the park.People walk around with pets and 85% don’t clean up after themselves (disgusting!!)This is why you can’t have nice things…They get ruined from people who have no class or respect…Trash bags thrown into the woods in the backI’m afraid to see how the pool will be once the weather gets warmer…Sometimes the garbage gets picked up sometimes it doesn’tMaintenance is very quick to respond to any problems you have or repairs (that’s a plus)Apartment is niceFirst floor you hear everything they do upstairs(Did they install a bowling alley upstairs???)I don’t mind during the day or in the evening but if it happens past 10pm no respect…Parking is ok if you have a garageSome don’t follow the rules when it comes to throwing out boxes or trash which will probably raise the rates even more…I am very disappointed for the money we pay here

Stairs and neighbors are hell but they are some nice apartments.

Got off of work early and drove an hour to see these apartments on a SCHEDULED tour only to find out we couldn’t see the actual unit. I understand that units are not always available to tour but the lady at the front desk couldnt care less and just told us to look online. She could have atleast showed us around or showed us the virtual tour like other apartments. It felt like she was just trying to rush us out. Only gets 2 stars because they were nice to my friend who went and toured a unit just last week.

I currentl live here. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone els. it looks nice and the staff are very polite and friendly. the rent is not what they say it is on the contrac, you will pat extr fees for things you don't use. They will pick up garbage from outside your door but don't set it on the groun or that's a fee. if you take your own garbage out they still charge the $35 fee. pest control is a joke so you have to do it yourself and you still get charged a monthly fee either way. This is the worst part for me. The walls are so thin I can hear the people down stairs walking around and next door I hear the cabinets open and close and look to see who is in my kitchen. You hear people walk up or down the stairs in the middle of the night and people talking outside. I can hear when the neighbors are showering or anything else. It's very irritating. I will be moving out as soon as my lease is up.

Complex was OK. Keep an eye out because there’s some sketch ppl at night who’ll go through cars. Gates don’t work properly. Overpriced in my opinion…

Looks and first impressions extremely deceiving! Sure there's a pool, gym, dog p*** bags, a coffee station, grill/space you can rent for parties, amenities you name it, etc....HOWEVER, the pool is closed every Monday for cleaning, and as of right now it's been closed for a month to reopen who knows when. You can only reserve the party get together spaces during business hours, and the gym only gets cleaned if you send in a management request through the app or when the southeastern rep is stopping by for a visit. It's amazing how spotless and nice this place starts looking in 24hrs when the vice president of operations is coming down. That's also the only time the fountains are actually working too. But aside from just basic amenities you'll be paying for the secure gate system to ensure only residents are coming in and out has worked for a total of 2 two days in the last 8months we've been here. Bottomline: You'll be paying for amenities you in reality can't use and don't really have.Oh, and that "Total Monthly Payment" you sign on your contract is not the actual amount you'll be paying. They have a separate fees paper, which you don't sign btw that tacks on a good $250 more a month, and add another fee for the third party billing system, and tack on another charge if you want patio shades because they only have one approved-opinion style and it has to be purchase through them, and they only do pest control on Fridays by request and even if you do your own pest control you still have to pay them 15/month, etc etc etc. Oh and that doesn't include the separate water bill and electric bill you'll have to pay. Just for an example that "1644 rent" will actually be just over 2,000/month. Also be sure to triple check your bill because they tried to add additional insurance charges that we had to correct the first three months we lived here. Bottomline: You'll be paying more than your told the first day. This place gets a solid 1 of 5 from me. The only reason I wouldn't give a 0 of 5 if I could is because the maintenance staff is very nice and fixed our dishwasher and broken window after 4 months of us living with it since we moved in. Bottomline: It was a livable space, but if I could do it again I would have chosen a different place.

Lived there for 1 year. Told me the unit was ready for me to move in and started paying rent. Showed up a week later snd it was not rwady then for occupancy. Front Door of the unit was filthy, previous renters stuff was still in the unit. I would not want to live there again. Had a power problem that took 20 days to fix. I Could only use one of two bedrooms the entire time. Bug infestation was horrible. flees and cockroaches. Carpet was stained and they assured me it was not going to be replaced. They spray for bugs but other residents resorted to independent contractors to try get ride of them. Packages delivered to the office were lost for months. Staff was nice just in over their heads. The pool is pretty when clean. No access to restrooms from the gym during non office hours.

Moved in here right out of high school and thought we loved it. By far one of the worst places to live. They are money hungry people with attitudes. They never answer the phone when you need them, the dog park is garbage, the only thing we liked was the maintenance team because they always fixed our stuff. We had to replace our carpets when we moved out even though they were disgusting for us when we moved in. Fake granite counter tops (they show you real ones in the model apartment). Gates never work, they weren’t willing to change gate codes when asked because of an incident involving someone who used to live there. do not recommend.

Sub-par apartment complex, at best. The management isn’t bad, but the main issue is the price. It’s certainly not worth the $1200-1400 they ask for. They also gouge you at move out. One way or another you’ll end up paying $200-300, but apartments always do that, so I suppose it’s not unique. The location is great though. Everything you need is within a 10-15 minute drive and Savannah is only about 30 minutes away.

Lived there for 12 months DEC 2020-DEC 2021. The experience was super nice until you sign the lease and then goes down hill from there. Most people would say you get what you pay for but, with Sterling Creek you will surely get less. Security gate was broken probably 8 of the 12 months I lived here. There is a $30 fee for a trash service that doesn’t get picked up consistently and is not refunded when it doesn’t get done (I probably had it picked up three times, past that I just did it myself cause it wasn’t worth getting accused of leaving your trash out and catching a fee). Cheap light bulbs that go out constantly (literally three within the first month of moving in) and it’s cheaper to just buy and replace yourself than pay them to replace them. The Utility bills don’t match the square footage of the apartment nor the occupancy ( I lived alone in a one bedroom and paid the same as a three bedroom with 4 occupants). One of the loudest HVAC units I’ve ever heard. It would literally wake you up at 2am when it turned on and never once had anyone come to change the filter which should be done monthly at least. Not to mention the HVAC unit for your apartment is located in a closet that is locked so you cant change the filter yourself even if you wanted to. The balcony was scheduled to be power washed at least once while I was there which was exciting because the collection of hornets nests was something out of a sci-fi movie, but much like the trash service it never happened. Had a crack in the ceiling in the bathroom from day one that would be super wet anytime you took a shower and was never fixed. People moving out would constantly throw furniture and tons of trash in front of the garbage compactor to a point where you couldn’t take your one bag of trash (that you where transporting cause trash pickup didn’t happen again) and actually get it in the dumpster. All of that topped off by one of the worst move out experiences I’ve ever had. First nobody showed up for the pre-move out inspection even though I had waited hours past the scheduled time. I even called the front office while waiting and was assured that someone was coming but they didn’t so had no idea what else I could do to avoid extra fees. I’ve never been charged for anything when Ive moved out cause Ive kept my places clean (photo attached). I vacuumed and wiped everything down except for the things I paid them to clean in their $280 express move out program. Caught a $50 charge for dust under the toilet (photo attached) which was dramatically called “excessive filth build up” but could’ve been wiped up by a three year old with a wet napkin but somehow wasn’t included in the almost $300 dollar payment I gave them. I was constantly cleaning that dust due to it coming out of the vent fan in the bathroom every time it was turned on (most likely because during construction some genius decided to tie it into the dryer vent next door). Then an additional $40 carpet treatment (professional carpet cleaning is included in the express move out fee) for essentially the indentations left by my couch and entertainment centers (photos attached). And then a $73 final utility bill (confusing cause you pay for electric yourself not through the office and water and sewer had already been billed). But yeah other than that super dope experience. Would not recommend even to that wiener Chris at work cause I wouldn’t wish this dumpster fire on anyone.

The apartment looks nice. Before I moved in I told the staff things that needed to be fixed in the apartment before I moved in but none of it was fixed before I moved in. I told them the apartment smelt like dog and they said they would have the carpet cleaned but when I moved in the apartment it still smelt like dog. I had to clean the carpet myself and I showed them how dirty the carpet was and they said it had been cleaned before I moved in (I didn't believe them.) The staff never answers the phone. The gate was always broken. My pool code never worked. I did like that is was quiet. People always thought it was okay to park infront of my garage so I couldn't get out and was late to work once. I brought the concern up to the staff nothing was done about it. Some of the staff has an attitude.

First I would like the talk about the great and patient help I received from Julia at the front desk. She was patient with every question I asked and the delays in my responses due to my job hours being abnormal. The apartment itself is very spacious and meets all my needs while being between savannah proper and my work place. The amenities are also very nice, but I will say the gym is somewhat bare bones. However, I can still get a workout at the complex when I do not want to drive to a local gym. overall, my current stay has been very easy with the staff being able to to reach out by text to inform me of any changes in the complex.

I want to share my experience with this apartment complex, I would recommend sterling creek to anyone and If you ever need anything or have a problem talk to Lacey she is the most kind hearted, understanding woman I have met in GA. Every lady in that office will help you and is very sweet but she is my go to every time I go in there. She always has a smile on her face and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in her office!! Thank you Lacey for being you!!!

Lived here for a year and a half.Pros: Maintenance team is efficient and great. Amanda and Gia were great to work with.Cons: Other staff members were terrible at communication and unprofessional. Attitudes are the worst. They don’t ever call you back when you have a concern. The pool this past summer seemed to be closed half the time, even though most of us had to walk to the pool just to find out it was closed. Half the time you wouldn’t find out until you got there (once again very poor communication to tenants). The Gate only worked about 10% of the time of me living there. The whole reason why I wanted to move there was because it was a gated and clean community at least so I thought it was from first glance. It’s not. Poorly maintained units. Bugs and roaches no matter how clean you are. The pest control you paid for every month was a joke. They said they spray every month but not sure if they were just spraying sugar water because the bugs never went away. Carpet at my first unit needed to be changed before I moved in, had terrible traffic stains, they never did told me to just notate it in my moveout inspection sheet, once my year was up at my first unit I wanted to expand to the 3 bedroom. At this point their prices went up. Rent was $1700 a month just about once you get all the monthly fees added in, I transferred units the unit I moved into was absolutely filthy. The bathrooms still had the previous tenants grime and dirt along with possible pubic hair all over the bathrooms, dirt and debris all over the carpets, so before I could have the movers help I had to clean the apartment myself, even though it should have been move in ready. I brought this to the managers attention immediately, they stated not to worry about cleaning the previous unit and not to worry about it. A month later after getting settled I get notification of a $1000 charge to replace the CARPET in the previous unit. Which was documented on move out that the carpet was already in piss poor condition when I moved in originally. They insisted that it was animal stains which was not from my animal that I had she was completely trained and never had an accident. They needed to tear that carpet up before I moved in and decided to do it after I left just to charge me for it. I only lived in my new unit for two months before I realized I would rather live in a house with peace than in that complex. It’s not even worth what you pay a month you mind as well rent somewhere else. They charge you a cleaning fee no matter what, half the time the amenities you think you will get either don’t work or are closed. You can hear your neighbors easily and their dogs barking. They barely pick up the trash for you like you pay them to do. This place is a joke. Military and DOD should stay away.
