Working with Great Oaks, and specifically Amy, to open my account was a really terrific experience. It was a complicated set-up and she patiently worked through all the details to a very successful conclusion. This is a bank that really understands service. Thanks Amy and Great Oaks!

This bank refused to give me a list of their investments, where they give loans, etc. The best their staff could tell me was to go to the FDIC's website and "find a list of our treasuries." Finding out how a bank invests your own money is information that is published quarterly by all and is common knowledge, but this one refused.Chances are they are loaning out to risky things like the recently collapsed banks across California (Silicon Valley Bank, etc.) did. Their management was also more focused on emphasising political agendas within HR, among other blatant problems, than simply using rational sense with how they handle patrons' money. They were small or mainly statewide banks, like this one, whose collapses further involved other financial institutions.Don't be seduced by a building that's new, has plush furniture, and smells like a hotel inside. This is why you need to know what their financial activities are as just simple common sense. There is no reason to hide this.Don't put your money here.

Great Oaks Bank is the epitome of community banking. The branch staff and leadership at the Richmond Hill location are top notch and always go the extra mile for customer service and satisfaction.

Very welcoming and lovely bank. I am new to the country and Nancy (my service advisor) assisted me through every stage of the process. She was very knowledgable and kind. I look forward to banking here with Great Oaks.

Nice beautiful brand new bank that just opened. It's so fancy they even have real gas fire lanterns at the front. They have drive up service around the back. Leaving is a hazard, there is a lot of construction on that road and no traffic lights so be careful! Standard ATM fees. They are closed on weekends though.. not super comic or people who work all week.
