Our dog Dublin was not feeling well for 2 days and as always Mrs. Heather worked us in so she could take a look at him. She did blood work and put him on antibiotics and steroids. He is getting better everyday. Mrs. Heather and her team have always been amazing with all our pets.

Too many patients. Sometimes cannot get an appt when something needs to be taken care of right away. Very good care though.

We have been using Cedar Animal Hospital for more than 3 years now. We first visited when my fur baby became very sick. The staff took great care of her for one month and saw to her medical needs and they also showered her with TLC. My fur baby didn’t make it but the support and sympathy we received from the Cedars family was incredible. We have since obtained 3 more fur babies and they are also are cared for by the team at Cedars. We cannot thank them enough for being there for us when we need them!

Wait times with an appointment is just horrible, they take your pet into the back do what needs done and brings it back. Any questions need to asked by a go between person who runs back and forth. If you want to see the vet and be with your dog they charge more for that. On the last visit I made an appointment with one of the vets, still didn't see the vet who "didn't have time to talk to me" and said they would call me at home later.
The girls at the payment desk think texting on their phone is more important than you are. I waited 10 minutes watching her text while she ignored me, and gave a sigh when she finally waited on me. The 2nd girl just sat there, I wasn't in her line I guess..
And as for the payment plan, that credit check that "won't appear on your credit report" does indeed show up. You pay a percentage of the bill and payments after that. If you add to that payment plan (another visit) you pay a percentage of the entire balance not just the fees your adding on. They no longer handle that and it is an outside company.

Cedar Animal Hospital is truly a great, compassionate veterinary Hospital. Over the years I have had 4 dogs that I have trusted with them and they have never disappointed me. They have helped me make tough choices while being very informed. They love my dogs and make me feel so calm.

The best vet around. I live in Hinseville but travel to Richmond Hill to use this vet. They do not take advantage of people or charge you for what you don't need.

Not a great experience. I was signed up for a “kitten plan” without a discussion or consent on my part. I only found this information out at checkout. Furthermore, there were some “complimentary” services performed without my knowledge or consent; that would have cost extra without the aforementioned “kitten plan”. To top it off, my bill was not itemized in a manner that would have reflected the original costs without a plan I had no knowledge of. I ended up having to make the decision about said plan in a busy check out line and review the items at home.
I arrived early, as requested, because I was a new client. There more than enough time to have had a discussion about what financial options were available to me BEFORE I owed any money. Additionally, the doctor was “running behind”, leaving more than 30 minutes past my appointment time open for discussion as well.
In regards to the doctor being late for the appointment, there was no acknowledgment of this fact by the staff until I confirmed my appointment time a second time. I literally had no idea what was going on. I should have probably left then but my fur baby needed her first shots and I didn’t have the heart to keep her waiting any longer than necessary.
The staff was cordial but underwhelming, with more concern focused on each other than the pets or people in the waiting room. I will say no one was rude to me in the least.
Overall, I got the impression that this particular practice is more concerned with what can be charged on behalf of your pet rather than the care of your pet.
