Place was clean and staff was AMAZING. However, we only came from about 20 minutes away. My niece wanted to stay in a hotel and swim for her birthday. The whole reason we booked this hotel was for the pool. Well it wasn't working. She was extremely disappointed. I would have never booked this place if I would have known. Be sure to call before booking to make sure everything works. Breakfast was good, just kind of an average hotel breakfast. The woman behind the counter made it special for my niece and I appreciate that. Another thing, either the manager or owner was watching me the entire time I was checking in. Even when I went to the elevator, he was watching me. He was also watching the ladies behind the desk in a creepy way. It made me extremely uncomfortable. Luckily he wasn't there when my niece arrived later. I'm not sure exactly who he was but I feel bad for the staff if he's always ogling them and guests as they're trying to check in.

A very pleasant place to stay. Plenty of parking. The hotel is away from the main street, makes it quiet. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. I appreciated the little things - you can have free coffee 24/7, fresh cookies from 6 PM (don't skip those as they are as good as your grandmas ones), water with lemon. You can also play free table football on the 3rd floor or go to the heated pool+jacuzzi. Laundry is available. Not much choice during breakfast, but everything that I've tried tasted good, so I was also happy there. Staff is friendly and always there to help you out if you need sth. I don't think you can stay better elsewhere for the price :)

Reviews on line not represented in the hotel. Bathroom & rooms clean, water not hot, fixtures in poor shape. Coffee way to strong to enjoy. Breakfast typical.

A delightful surprise! We stopped staying at Best Western because we were consistently dissatisfied with several stays about a year ago. It seems Best Western is stepping up its game. This hotel was super clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast was a decent t selection and the parking lot was large and well lit. Our bed was super comfy and we got a.great night of sleep. This was a great stay for a great price. We will be back.

We liked our King bedroom. It was spacious and the bathroom had plenty of room. They have a small pool and jacuzzi too but quite warm in there. The breakfast was good. They had sausage and eggs and pretty good coffee. They had great fresh lemon water when we arrived which was nice. The building and doors reminded of us of mid 70's but it was in good condition. It is dog friendly. The cost to stay was average. We would stay here again.

Comfortable beds, quiet, easy to get to. AC had the always-on mode I like for white noise, and the curtains closed fully to block out light. Mini fridge even had a freezer. Price was good and the front desk helpful. For the record, their "spa" is a hot tub.

I recently had a delightful stay at BW Plus Richmond Hill Inn. The service provided by the reception staff was exceptional, with their cheerful demeanor and helpful recommendations adding to the experience. They provided excellent recommendations for local attractions, which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. The complimentary cookies were a lovely touch. I especially enjoyed the complimentary coffee, a small detail that made a big difference. Overall, my stay at this hotel was wonderful, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant and comfortable stay. :)

Solidly decent hotel. Stayed for one night as we passed through town for a trip. Chose this hotel because of good ratings and included breakfast for the following morning before we got back on the road. Breakfast was really disappointing. The eggs were soggy like they had been soaking in a pool of water. The pancakes were weirdly chewy. They has oatmeal, but only 2 packets with random flavors, no plain oatmeal. The case with breaks was mostly empty and they didn't seem to be refilling it despite thete being over and hour left to breakfast when we got there. The room was good and mostly quiet. But the walls/windows seemed very thing and did not insulate against a lot of the noise. Cound very clearly hear the people in the next room as well as the traffic outside. Beds reasonably comfortable.Definitely adequate for a quick overnight stay.

We stay at this particular Best Western Plus for 2-3 night stays at least once a month. There are little things that aren't perfect but never anything to complain about. Mostly design issues. Everyone has always been friendly. This time however we had some issues. This was a 2 night stay. The first night the tv control stopped working. It wouldn't change channels. My husband went down to seek help. The desk person came up but couldn't figure it out. So we were stuck on the weather station. She said she'd send maintenance. Maintenance never showed thruout the entire stay. When I left today the tv was still not operational. My husband had to visit a worksite this morning and was held up from picking me up at noon which is check out time. I called at 11:30 and asked for an extended checkout at 1:00. I was told no that could not be accommodated. I have never in 40 years of traveling been denied this. I told the front desk girl ok that I would be out as soon as I could get everything together. At 11:46 , 11:52 & 11:55 there were knocks on the door and they tried their key but I had the security latch on.. I didn't answer as check out is noon and I was getting my belongings together. At 12:03 another knock. I open the door and tell him to give me one minute. I gather my bags and walk out the door to see 3 housekeepers in the hall where they had stepped out of the rooms they were cleaning and the desk clerk marching towards my room with what seemed to be anger. When she saw me she turned on her heel, got on the elevator and went back to her desk. The other housekeepers were all smiling. I'm guessing she was coming " to make me leave". I have never had a desk clerk come to my room like that.I left, went outside and waited 45 minutes in the cold for my husband. I suppose I could have sat in the lobby but I didn't want to be around her.I'm sorry to say that this will be our last stay at this particular Best Western. There are plenty of brand new places within a couple hundred yards.Rooms: 1. The toilet paper holder is far away from the toilet in all rooms.2. Any accessible shower should have a handheld shower imo. This isn't the case here. It seems counter tops are made/ designed for very tall people.3. AC unit has control on the wall but it doesn't control anything. You have to use the window unit controls.4. Towel racks are attached to the wall right over the toilet. Not sanitary.5. Very cheap shampoos, etc in very tiny bottles6. Carpets need cleaning. After walking on the floor, I step in the shower and the bottom of the tub is black and very dirty. Straight off their carpet7) light over the bedside table is so far away that you have to stand up and take a couple steps. You can't reach from a position in the bed.8. Elevator won't close without pushing floor button several times9. Breakfast area is way too small for number of guests attempting to prepare or eat.10. Breakfast shuts down promptly at 9:00 am. No exceptions.11. Nowhere does it say there is a pet fee. That's a suspense. It only states pet friendly.12. Not much shower pressure on the 3rd floor

Nice, clean. Entrance is a bit hard to find as the hotel is set back from the road. Lots of options for dinner within a short drive. Dog friendly walking area is at the back.

Our car broke down and we needed a pet friendly place to stay the night. This was the first place we found and wow it exceeded my expectations. The staff was so friendly, room was large and clean, comfy bed, and they allowed us to bring our dog with a $35 fee per night. The value for what you get is incredible. I enjoyed my stay!Rooms: The room was HUGE with a couch, large bathroom and a king size bed.Safety: Felt very safe hereNoteworthy details: They allow pets with a fee

Traveling with kids and we had to get a room last minute for a few hours of sleep before getting on the road again. I guess the plus makes a difference, the room was clean, bathroom impeccable and the service of the front desk and breakfast staff was courteous and friendly. Regina who checked us in was great!
