I used Allied-Richmond Hill for a cross country move from Georgia to Arizona. I was so impressed with the level of customer service I received from every member of the Allied team who helped me with my move! David and Demetrice were so helpful with the estimate and answering all my questions about what to expect during the move (and believe me I had a LOT of questions). Demetrice in particular was very patient and professional and always available by phone and email in the lead up to the load day. Jesus was the main mover that was there for the load and unload. He was also very professional and friendly. THEN both during and after the move, Demetrice reached out to check in to see if there were any new questions or issues! WOW wow wow. I am so glad I was able to use Allied-Richmond Hill and highly recommend them!

The WORST moving experience we’ve ever had - we’ve moved 10+ (to include international) and this has been hands down the worst company.
From the initial move, the movers showed up and dropped a dresser down our entire set of hardwood stairs damaging the walls and floor. This significantly delayed the moving process as they had to stop what they were doing and repair all the damage caused. The moving crew disassembled furniture and did not create a “parts box” which is standard first step in any move. Instead they would take something apart and leave the screws on the floor or just hand the screws to my husband to figure out.
The movers SNAPPED in half our king bed frame sideboard - absolutely no idea what they were thinking. Then wrapped the broken items together.
We paid for TV cartons, mattress pads — no cartons were not used and our daughter’s crib mattress was completely ruined not being wrapped.
Our quote was higher than our actual move weight as we sold a significant amount of items ahead. After the damage to the TVs and mattress, Allied could not tell me exactly/prove that the protection items were refunded….
Finally, we paid for additional insurance as we were moving out of state - they outsource their claims department to a third party which has denied our claims for items ALLIED PACKED AND BROKE!
I’ve never been so disappointed for the amount of money spent and lack of customer service.
Do not recommend - you’re better off with renting PODS!!

Zero stars for Allied Richmond Hill. This is my first ever review less than 4 stars, I always believe in giving the benefit of doubt to the business. Businesses have struggled with so much- this moving experience was the worst. The movers broke half of our belongings from packing the truck with everything fragile on the bottom. In the end, we found that the crew that RH Allied used weren’t even movers, thus the issue. They arrived significantly later than the arrival window. Communication from the company and moving crew was awful. For delivery, the crew was different and very nice. Unfortunately the crew that loaded had done the damage. I would recommend to move by yourself versus using this company.

This company is horrible don't even bother calling the girl that answers the phone just hangs up randomly. The first time she hung up when I greeted her by just saying "hello" the second time is when I starting asking general questions. So I will not be using this company.

Packing job was great. Stuff arrived as scheduled. Only issue was that I didn’t check off the boxes as they arrived. I didn’t get everything but my fault for not checking as they arrived.

This was our 7th move. 2nd time using Allied. 1st time was great, this time worst move of all 7.Packers were horrible - arrived late both days; left many items unpacked; mislabeled boxes; unmarked boxes; poorly packed items arrived broken.Loaders at origin (Pooler, GA) - damaged floor speaker; damaged a floor lamp; poked hole in house wall; crushed some items loading into moving van.Moving van driver - polite, courteous, helpful. Assisted with loading van...in a good way.Not sure I'd use Allied again.

A poorly packed truck for a long distance move left me with crushed valuables and furniture. In 4 cross country moves I have never lost more belongings. I won’t trust Allied with another move.

1. The handling of my objects was extremely rough. I had literal metal bars on furniture arrive snapped in half to give an idea of the force my items were subjected to. stacks of boxes arrived so dented and crushed you'd think they were hit by a car. By far the physically roughest and least careful move Ive ever experienced. Movers were regularly just kicking boxes across the room or tossing them. Boxes that were marked fragile were tumbled and rolled upside down if the movers found it convenient in the moment.2. The sales person seriously misrepresented the contract she had me sign and ultimately overcharged me. I want to be charitable but I fail to see how it could be an honest mistake. I was told that the price of the service would be determined by the weight of the cargo and the truck would be weighed to calculate the price to me. This did not happen. The truck was not weighed and I paid what i understood was an estimate. This is a problem because I got rid of heavy items i would have moved otherwise. Despite the salesperson assuring you me this would result in lower cost, it did not. Really, I paid to move items that were not moved and i no longer owned.In all, unprofessional from all areas. I enthusiastically encourage everyone to avoid doing business with Allied.

While Ulysses' team was moving us, my jewelry went missing and a police report was filed. Ulysses' team is still moving folks, Allied doesn't care, BEWARE.

Awful service and they broke almost all my cups and glasses.... Do not recommend, they were hateful and rude' not even cari by about my stuff. It cost me over 400$ to replace those glasses
