Adorable B&B in a cute mountain neighborhood by a beautiful rushing creek. Breakfast porch overlooks creek and a lush garden. Hosts make a lucious breakfast using flour from the watermill on the creek. Half a mile from lovely lake and back entrance of Black Rock Mountain State Park.

During our recent road trip from Atlanta to Gatlinburg, we encountered a common problem among electric vehicle owners - finding reliable car charging stations. Thankfully, our luck turned around when we stumbled upon a gem of a charging station that ticked all the right boxes and made our journey a breeze. The charging station's location was conveniently situated along our route, and the moment we pulled in, we were greeted by a stunning falls view that instantly refreshed our spirits. It felt like an oasis amidst our journey, where we could relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery while our car charged. The standout feature of this charging station, aside from its picturesque surroundings, was undoubtedly the top-notch customer service. The lady attending to the station was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She guided us through the charging process, answering all our queries and ensuring a seamless experience. Her professionalism and warm demeanor made us feel welcome, adding a personal touch to the overall visit. The charging station itself was in excellent condition, well-maintained, and equipped with the latest technology. We had no issues with the charging process, and our car was fully charged in no time. With the convenience of the location, the magnificent falls view, and the exceptional customer service, we couldn't have asked for a better pit stop during our trip. It not only alleviated our initial concerns about finding a charging station but also turned it into a memorable part of our journey. In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend this charging station to all EV drivers traveling between Atlanta and Gatlinburg or anyone in the vicinity. The falls view alone is worth the stop, and coupled with the superb customer service, it becomes an experience you won't want to miss. A big thumbs up to the team managing this station for creating such a wonderful and welcoming space for EV enthusiasts.Kudos to them, and we'll definitely be returning on our next trip!

Just got back today and I know my husband and I are going to miss that scrumptious breakfast tomorrow morning. Thank God we have some leftover scones and hazelnut brioche. Sylvan Falls is truly a great get away if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Mike and Linda are wonderful hosts.

My sister and I stayed 12-3-22. It was very tranquil. No noise, except the waterfall. Loved our stay!

We called Linda on a spur of the moment thought (planning is for dullards). They actually had a room available and we booked it. We were going to go over in N.E. Georgia to look at some waterfalls. My wife has a feather allergy and has some dietary issues that we explained up front. We took our pillows, but were pleasantly surprised that the pillows had been changed out before we arrived. We told Linda we were there to look at waterfalls, she gave us some great tips and we saw all the ones she told us about. There was an all night rain while we were there and the waterfall behind the B&B was so beautiful. The food and the service was better than we could have ever expected. I hate writing this because we will be going back and now we will have to vie for rooms with YOU PEOPLE ( blatant Caddyshack reference!).

This weekend was a heavenly turn from the daily routine. This home is located near several of the area attractions and provides a quiet respite from your travels. We loved the waterfall that provided a tranquil soundtrack. The room was clean and had rustic charm the home was overall inviting and you felt special being there. The breakfast was awesome as we had something different and exciting every morning.I will return if I am in this area again. I also recommend it for my friends as well.

My wife and I and all the rest of the guys in Shadow Ridge Bluegrass Band had the opportunity to stay here during the Dillard Bluegrass and BBQ festival and this was by far the most awesome place we’ve ever had the privilege to stay. We were all there together yet we all had our own rooms and bathrooms. It was so comfortable and the beds were really comfy. Gorgeous waterfall right outside the screened in porch to have our breakfast prepared by the Inn Keeper Linda who was a sweetheart!!! Love this place and hopefully we’ll get to come back next year to the festival and stay here!! Thanks Linda for making us feel so at home!!!

We had a lovely time at this B&B. It's extremely easy to find and the property is simply lovely. The waterfall and the gardens are to die for. Linda is a wonderful host (we didn't meet Michael) and couldn't possibly have made our lives easier. It was my husband's 75th birthday and, upon request, she made us a wonderful private dinner on the screened porch next to the waterfall. The menu and portions were perfect. Breakfast was every bit as good. If you enjoy walking, you will be very near a state park--you can walk to it (less than a mile) and then continue hiking around a lake or on a much longer trail. By the way, our dog came with us to the B&B and we really appreciated how few restrictions there are on his movements--the ones that exist are totally reasonable. We stayed in the Fireplace Room and, although it was adequate, it is nothing to get particularly excited about. We had no specific complaints but we've certainly stayed in much nicer rooms. However, for the reasonable price, we were quite content. One caution: internet and cell phone service exists but isn't totally reliable. That wasn't of concern to us but might be for some. All in all, we highly recommend Sylvan Mills and are likely to stay there again. Thanks, Linda!

This had to be the most unique B&B we've ever stayed at. The waterfall right outside the breakfast room porch was a really cool feature. Having that to listen to and admire while eating a deliscious breakfast was a real treat. Homemade stollen, crepes, omelets and my husband's favorite, apple slices wrapped around sausage drizzled with maple syrup were all really great. We had the fireplace room so it was very private and comfy. Cute little towns nearby to explore and dine. And area is loaded with natural beauty. Wish them continued success with the B&B.

The old mill is absolutely enchanting. The waterfall adds tranquility in a beautiful location. The hosts are wonderful and Linda is an excellent cook. The place was very clean and well taken care of. I hope to visit here again in the near future.
