I had the most terrible experience at this location. Mick, the mechanic, was rude and dismissive about my concerns regarding my vehicle. I came in needing my steering wheel fixed. Left paying $800 with the same issue with my steering wheel. Caucasian manager at the front desk was incompetent at his job. I will never go back or recommend this shop, especially for women.

Jason and his staff is the best, anytime I need an oil change, or tires and anything else I go to Mavis I followed Jason from the victory drive location. I can't say enough about how kind and knowledgeable him and his staff is. Also if he doesn't have the answers he will to whatever it takes to find it.
Thanks for continuing to keep my vehicle running properly and safely.

WORST EXPERIENCE AT A CAR SHOP IN MY LIFE! I went in for an oil change, it took over 2 hours. They also told me I was in need of a new windshield wipers ( I don’t think I actually was but I agreed to get new ones) and they were not screwed in well at all AND ONE OF THEM FLEW OFF only a few weeks after installation. They also did not reset the thing on the dash that tells you if your oil is low, or given the little sticker that shows when your next oil change is needed, which I’ve never experienced someone not doing before. I definitely will be seeing another auto shop for my next oil change……….

I took my car here in October to get 2 new tires. They did my tires and were very pleasant. As i got in my car to drive home i noticed when i turned my wheel it felt very “loose,” almost like how it feels to drive in ice. Thought nothing of it until my fiancé saw the tires and said he thought they were over inflated…. I checked them out and they were over inflated by 20psi! So i deflated them to what they needed to be (30 psi) and continued to drive for the next 2-3 weeks. One day i noticed that the tire i bought from them had a large bubble in the sidewall so i called Mavis and brought it in, i explained my issue and was spoken too like i was a nuisance.
Fast forward to my car today having ALL of the service lights on because i currently have my spare tire on, looked up why i have all of my service lights on and was told by many different sites it is because it is registering the different sized tire and causing the computer to panic. So my fiancé looks around the car and inspects it and notices that the tire they replaced AGAIN (because the first one had a bubble) is the WRONG SIZE TIRE.
So now I’m having to take my car BACK tomorrow to have them fix the tire AGAIN.

Bree customer service associate at the desk is pleasant and a pleasure to talk to . She knows her job and spoke to me in a very respectful manner , my car needed 4 tires I could only afford two at a time . She never made me feel less because of my situation. She worked with me and has excellent communication skills. I can not say enough about my experience with her. Also the entire team is pleasant and compassionate. Please give them all a raise ! Thank you

Mavis Tire on Pooler Parkway is absolutely the way to go! I had an emergency flat with an hour drive home, and they fit me in at the end of the day. That alone is worth praise, but furthermore; they were so kind, helpful, and thorough. 10/10 recommend!!!

I went in for a nail in my tire a few weeks ago, and when asked if I needed anything other than a patch job, I responded, “no. The check engine light is on, but don’t do anything with that or anything else.” After 6 hours, my car was finally looked at, and when they called me up to the counter, they proceeded to tell me my battery was dead and needed to be replaced. I looked over and the battery was already out of the car, and since I’d been there so long and they claimed it was “dead” I accepted to get the battery swapped so I could get the hell out of there. On my way home, they called me to tell me they left a ratchet under my hood. (A very heavy and expensive one at that) I brought it back to the shop, and my dad and I confronted them about the experience I had, and they told him my battery was at 25% not dead. My dad tested the battery, and it was actually at 90%. So they lied about that, and now I have to get the tire replaced completely to top everything off. If you wanna waste a whole day at a tire shop that wants to rob you instead of going into work, just to spend $330 for unnecessary work, and MAYBE a free ratchet, this is the place. I’m not one to write bad reviews, but in this economy and especially on a rent due date, NO ONE should have to deal with that crap. Save your money and sanity. Please.
