The staff was very nice. We came in late, because of the hurricane, and they said we could stay past the 11:00 checkout, of we needed to. The place was obviously in the process of being painted in the hallway, upstairs, and the rooms looked newly finished. However, there were several problems with our shower, and my husband had to go down and get a room key to an empty room, so we could finish showering, which the staff were happy to provide.

We stayed here only as a break in our drive home to Central Florida from NW South Carolina. The hotel is going through a renovation, and they're behind schedule.
Needless to say, the room we were in on the third floor was still in an unfinished state. While most items worked, others did not. One nightstand light worked, and the other didn't. The blinds are motorized. The outer modesty blind worked fine, the inner blackout blind was reversed, the up arrow lowered it, and the down arrow raised it. Simple, right? The pause button didn't appear to do anything. There was a 1-gang electrical box with several wires extending out. My guess is it may have something to do with the mystery switch on the wall that doesn't appear to do anything.
Breakfast was a disappointment. The only hot item was the do-it-yourself waffles and toast. No eggs, no potatoes, no protien. They did have coffee, and it went well with my yogurt.
We were told the construction will be completed sometime in August. Originally, it was April. If you plan on staying here, find out if the renovation is completed before you book. Good luck!

They are doing some remodeling but still nice and quiet. A great place to stay when visiting Savannah...not too far from everything.

Stayed last week in New remodeled room. No complaints.
Came back this week with a half remodeled room. No knob on bathroom door and incomplete door facing. AC doesn't cool. No water pressure in shower. Rm 330.
Considered coming back next week but unsure at this point. Please complete construction before offering room.
Rooms: Check ur room before you stay.

The front desk girl at night was terrible. She had really bad customer service. Screamed at us for putting ice into our coolers with drinks. Also went MIA during the night for 30 minutes while we were locked out of our room. She didn't answer the main line or the phone number left at the desk. When she finally returned she gave us dirty looks, rescanned the card then walked away. Literally the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel in my life. She should NOT bet working in ANY customer facing position.

I opted for a 3rd floor (despite elevator being broken) so I could stay in one of the newly renovated rooms. They need to get their money back from the contractors… the work is shoddy.
Had a creepy crawly roommate, so I left it in a cup for housekeeping.
My key card cut out a day early because front desk put in the wrong date (not a big deal, just annoying without an elevator).
And water was shut off after my jog this morning - unable to shower before work and travel. Can’t call down to the front desk, they just won’t answer.
I would only stay here if I was getting a deal where it was <$45/ night.
Rooms: Lousy renovation job. Not clean. Bugs.
Noteworthy details: Having running water must be a privilege.

The beds were like bricks, it was dirty, we were on the first floor so the construction workers were in the hall outside our door at 0600 talking loudly and cursing until 0700. Shower was pitiful. There were hairs in the shower. The TV kept turning itself on all throughout the night, and the room stunk. The only nice thing was the guy who checked us in was very nice.

An inexpensive hotel, in short, I would advise anyone not to book there. During our 11-day stay, the bed was made twice, trash was taken out and cleaned. When I checked in I paid the total amount of $1470 in full. Nevertheless, $670 was blocked on my credit card and only released after 9 days. After cleaning the room for the first time, they forgot to close the door. The room was open until we returned at 9 o'clock in the evening. The employees know the word sorry perfectly. When I asked for the hallway to be vacuumed, this was actually done the next day.
We have learned our lessons from this.
By the way, rooms with two double beds are strangely cheaper than with one.
It is typical for hotels here that you cannot open windows. When you turn off the air conditioning or turn it down, a bad smell immediately arises.
The tiles in the bathroom had almost no silicone joints, it's a wonder the place hasn't gotten moldy yet.
I always had to get towels myself, not much happens here.
Conclusion: if you love adventure, OK, otherwise I would book somewhere else.
Rooms: It is poorly cleaned.

The staff were available as soon as we walked thru the door. Breakfast was good, and the lobby was clean. The rooms were decent. They could use remodeling. Overall it was a good choice for the night.Food & drinks: There are plenty of places to eat close and it is not too far from the airport
