Stopped by a few minutes after 7 needing some things and the doors were locked. Posted hours for a Saturday are 9 am - 10 pm.

FORMAL COMPLAINT TO: FAMILY DOLLAR OWNER FROM: CONCERNED CUSTOMER DATE: OCTOBER 3, 2023 RE: LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE Today, I was in your store at 1028 Hwy 80 W in Pooler, GA. Only two ladies were working; both ladies of Hispanic ethnicity because I could understand their language slightly. I have often loved and frequented this location in past months as it is closest to my residence. Something has changed with this store for the worst. It has always been disorganized but tolerable. Upon entering in the store, I could hear a lady hard cussing using language such as "FUCK, SHIT, DAMN" on several instances, numerous times and it was heard throughout the entire store as I walked the entire store. I continued to shop thinking it would end. The foul and profane language continued over and over again. I then walked down the isles to see who it was, it was the Lead Manager on duty in the Frozen Food Section complaining about what she was going to do with all the food that was delivered. You would think by seeing a paying customer in the store, she would stop. She continued to complain and cuss even more. It was a disgrace. It was disrespectful to my elderly mother that I had with me in the store. Then when the register scanner malfunctioned and the other young lady who worked in the store had to call her to assist; the lead manager's display of her frustrations was even more evident. That is when I decided that as a paying customer, I DID NOT have to endure such disrespectful and unprofessional behavior by her. She was sighing as if I was an inconvenience to her to have to come to fix the malfunctioning scanner. She said and I quote, "This shit done messed up my register". I kindly said to the cashier, it's okay. I will leave everything here and not make my purchase of $77. It was just that bad. People can have a bad day but as a Worker in the Family Dollar store, you must still maintain good customer service at all times. This letter may not mean much to you; the reader but I had to share my horrible experience. I will also post it on YELP, Facebook, Instagram and all other social media outlets because I am an Influencer within the community. Please look into this matter and make the change to better serve this community. In addition, I will write a letter to the Corporate Office for Family Dollar because this was the absolute WORST display of behavior to me and any other customer that was in the store. Your location is the absolute WORST display of Customer Service and I will NEVER return.

Can’t give it 0 stars so I guess 1 will have to do. Hours on door, website and internet say they are open however myself and 3 other cars all pull up to this location at about 3:30pm on a Thursday and the doors are locked. I understand businesses struggle with employees not wanting to work and also with hiring in general but if you can not be open your store hours then adjust your open hours. I can not remember when a family dollar was busy enough to be open 12 hours a day anyway.

After giving this store multiple chances I think I’m done. Every time I have finished shopping and wanted to check out, no one is to be found! I have been kept waiting for up to 5 minutes for someone to notice before. These people don’t care. Today was the last straw. There was a lady waiting already at the register and as I walked up to get in line behind her with my 3 year old daughter, I noticed very inappropriate rap music being play behind the register. I put down my stuff right there and left. This is not a family store and they don’t care about their customers.

This store has the worst manager. She is extremely rude and closes the store whenever she please. My family and I will not be returning here anymore. Terrible customers service.

Not Happy! 2 different items rang up more than tagged on shelf. Cashier only says" I can't change/do anything. I'll have to tell someone when they come in". How does that help get me my money back they overcharged?

this store apparently never goes by the hours on the sign or the website . Seems they open and close whenever the employees feel like it . Today I was there at 9:10am myself and another customer arrived around the same time and it was closed with an employee inside she opened the door which I thought she was opening already and No I guess she had to go to her car . She then said something I didn’t hear I asked what she said and with a nasty attitude she rolled her eyes ! I don’t understand if your going to wake up go to work in customer service with a ugly attitude and treat people bad and open when you feel like it , why even bother showing up? It’s true what all these bad reviews say the employees here are horrible!

12:15 in the afternoon and the employee locked the doors before I could get in. Gave me a "GO AWAY" motion. I can see if your the only employee and need to eat lunch and if thats the case, put up a sign. Other family dollars I've been to are very nice. This one didn't want my business I guess.

I came in and bought $78.00 worth of products. I asked if I could use the restroom after paying. I was told by the African American that I could not because her relief took the key. Another African American came in as I was leaving and she gave him the key.I am a Caucasian woman. I’m not racist. I’m sure nothing will be done because I am the minority.Things like this makes me wonder.

A Family Dollar Manager at Store #08572 is one of the most Awful person I've ever meet. When my husband asked what is the number to File a Complaint, she stated 1-800 Family Dollar. This Woman was very abrasive, she bumped me in the aisle and blamed me for our contact. This is unacceptable behavior from a Manager to a patron of this Store. I've never experienced this type of treatment in a public setting before.
