I don’t like to walk into a store and then the sales person is hovering over me as though I’m there to steal. Why would I be carrying a Valentino purse to steal a&f. Y’all need to stop stereotyping every person of color that walks into the stores you’re only working for. Why would I risk my 6 figure career, and half a million dollar house for some discounted prices.
They think we don’t know the tactic they use, asking us over and over if we need help, yet other “people” are just freely browsing. Trust if I need help I’ll come find you! You don’t have to ask me the same question 3 times and walk past me 7 times just because I look different from everyone else in the store. It’s so disgusting. I went in with the intention of buying something just to be turned off!
