“Shannon grocery is a hidden gem and the selection is quite nice with both a huge variety of items plus prices that match & even beat big name stores. Staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. They also serve pizzas which are reasonably priced and very tasty. I like the fact that they carry almost anything i might want from Walmart without having to go to Walmart which in and of itself is a huge win when i not have to go to Walmart. They have also started having packages of meats for reasonable prices. So go by check them out and have them make you a pizza to go while you peruse the many options available.”

Plus, they have the BEST selection of Scratch off Tickets. In fact, we bought a couple of $5 tickets today and hit for $50, we bought a steak. “We go there slot being as that's the only store in the area that you can pick up some things you may not find at the only other store here.I notice a big turnover with employees there.All are nice & courteous.We're at this store several times a week, it's convenient.We don't have a grocery store on the South End of the County do we appreciate what we do have.Maybe one day we will have what every other area in Dalton has.”

“I believe this is a newer Food City in the Calhoun, GA area because if you looked closely, the blue is bit brighter than other blue tones in older FC. I didn't take any photos of the inside because it looks like any other Food City, but this particular day, I went to pick up a card and anniversary cake for my sister and brother-in-law. Unfortunately the cake decorator left for the day, but there was a associate that work in the deli..she did such a great job writing down exactly what I needed to go on the cake! Highly recommended because the associate that helped me (I can't recall her name), but she went out of her way and tried her best!”

“I didn't go there last week. But I got married the first time at 16 I'm now 61. And I have shopped there since I was 16 years old. That has to say something for about them. And thankfully we have 5 stores in our county. The prices are soo good and the products are to. Great employees work there. They have great sales besides having great prices.....”
