Supervalu is an independent small town grocery store that provides a real hometown grocery experience. It is open every day of the year. The store offers a nice selection of harder to find items and good choices that can’t be found at a regular supermarket, acting as a quick mart plus a little more. It features a quality meat department with USDA Choice Certified Angus Beef and fresh market ground beef made daily, along with a decent produce section and fresh fish every Friday, though some were disappointed in the seafood selection. The store is clean with well-stocked shelves and well-placed aisles. Employees are awesome, very helpful, and friendly, with courteous service and friendly cashiers. Prices are competitive, though some note it can be expensive. The store can order in most products upon request. It is highly recommended.
We live in New York, so going to a grocery store in back woods Georgia you expect only a limited display and supplies. Wow, was I surprised to find everything in their store that I would find in any grocery store in New York. So I'm making a public apology for my assumption 😪 The food that I purchased was fantastic 😋
