Callaway Resort & Gardens is a beautiful outdoor destination offering a variety of activities throughout the year. Covering over 2,500 acres, it features stunning gardens, hiking and biking trails, and world-class golf. Visitors can enjoy seasonal events like the Pumpkin Patch with glow-in-the-dark mini golf, spooky book readings, corn mazes, and food trucks, which are especially fun for families and children. During the summer, Robin Lake provides watersports and a large man-made white sand beach, perfect for relaxing and playing. Fall is ideal for wildlife experiences, fall festivals, and horseback riding at nearby stables, with some activities like the gardens' fall festival and endurance riding offering additional adventure. In winter, the resort hosts Christmas events, including the acclaimed Fantasy in Lights display, a National Geographic feature that dazzles visitors with its beautiful light show. Guests praise the resort's pleasant rooms, large and comfy, and the lovely gardens, although navigation can be tricky without a car. The resort is walkable, but some areas require driving. The spa is a highlight, offering excellent services like couples reflexology and a relaxing salt room, with affordable day passes available. Food options, including Cason's Tavern and a delicious breakfast buffet, receive positive remarks for their good service and variety. Some concerns include safety issues with room assignation, limited signage, and seasonal closures of certain amenities like the lake and pool. Overall, Callaway Resort & Gardens is a charming outdoor escape with friendly staff, enjoyable activities, and scenic beauty, making it a great place for relaxation, adventure, and family fun.
Callaway Gardens and resort is by far my favorite destination in Atlanta for a weekend getaway with my beloved!

We made a family trip over for the light show. I'd never been to Callaway Gardens before and it was a surprise how large the place is. We'll definitely be doing this again. Next year we'll try to book sooner and stay on the grounds.

The resort is beautiful, but we went for “Fantasy in Lights” 5 mile drive through of Christmas displays, glow in the dark putt putt and walk through areas. We use to love doing the walk for March of Dimes through the lights. Hope Callaway brings back the Walk,
