“Came in for an oil change and was immediately greeted by the manger Trace, he was very friendly and asked me what he could do for me. After a small conversation I was pulled into the bay and they checked my lights (which has never been done before at other shops) oil change was done quickly with no problems. “Good morning, I’d be happy to elaborate on the one star. Three different time I attempted to schedule a transmission fluid change and oil change for my Silverado. This dealership put a new transmission in my truck and I am getting close to the mileage that would void my warranty so I need it done. On all of my attempts I never recieved a confirmation of my “appointment” and no one would return my call. Earlier this week I again tried to “schedule an appointment” and again no confirmation. I am accustomed to getting confirmation text from another dealership. Someone from the dealership text me after I requested “chat” and I explained that I just wanted to confirm I have an appt to avoid showing up and not being able to get service. The lady assured me that someone from service would call me to confirm. That was at 0718 and late yesterday afternoon after not receiving that call, I called back. They explained to me that the service dept does not even see the online scheduling so they would not know. The person I spoke to said that the service dept had voiced concern over this practice but that they were required to continue with it. This practice seems disingenuous to be if not completely dishonest but seems to be as good as it gets. That aside, there is no excuse for no having someone return my call after being told that they would. My time is valuable to me and I don’t appreciate practices such as this that devalues not only my time but appreciation for my business. I am currently in your service dept finally getting my service if you would like more detail please feel free to step over and I’d be glad to speak to you.
Just to update my review. The Service Manager ( Ms Batchelor ) Called me and explained how the online scheduling works and how the situation I described above occurred. She was very polite and professional and I appreciated her calling. I was completely satisfied with her explanation. Thanks for calling me!”
