Worst customer service. I had a curbside order. An associate came out and didn’t even greet me or made eye contact. He throws my stuff in the trunk and walked away. He must be so miserable working at this office depot. Never coming back here and everyone should stay away too

This review would have been a one-star review if it wasn’t for Jon! Jon honestly deserves a raise!!!
I had a less than favorable shopping experience with Joselinn and the other associate (young black guy). They seemed to be irritated by being asked to do their jobs. Upon walking in the store, I overheard the two associates gossiping about the fact a customer made them stop what they were doing to actually assist them. So it wasn’t a shocker when I asked the young boy for help and he responded with an attitude. He begrudgingly went and got the desk I needed and didn’t even advise me of the rewards program. I only found out because I went back in the store and asked Jon for assistance on what I thought was a price discrepancy.
Jon impressed me with his top-tier customer service. He validated/addressed my concerns, he explained to me how Office Depot rewards system works, and he didn’t all without complaining/or having to be asked to. Thank you, Jon. You’re the best.
**** Joselinn and the young black guy needs EXTENSIVE customer service training. ASAP. Or they simply need to be replaced by individuals who actually care about the customers as well as their jobs. ***

Associates working this evening seems like they could care less. I wanted something so simple. I’ve come here before to have a paper or 2 laminated. I wanted a paper the size of a credit card laminated and it seemed like I was a real bother. I asked could it be cut out, he tells me that it’s a charge and proceeds to put my paper on a large cutter and tells me to use this and walks away. I don’t use those!! No help what so ever! I would have paid whatever it costs if I was given the opportunity!! Do better people.

Incredibly rude service. First of all, the store is an absolute mess, so I couldn't find what I was looking for at all. Finally get up to the register to ask an employee (who tries to basically hide) and was not led anywhere, just told "Aisle 4". Lo and behold, what I needed was not in that aisle. Asked another employee who gave me the same treatment, like I was the dog poop on their shoe, and was told I can only buy one of the items of the 4 I needed. Absolutely zero customer service, employees seem like they just rolled out of bed, incredibly rude and messy. That first employee started talking about me while I was within earshot as well, and then mean-mugged me on my way out of the door. I get it, people are struggling to keep these places operational, but seriously, It wouldn't hurt to just try. Will never be coming back. Unfortunate.

I have visited and/or ordered from this location around 5 times now. Each time has been like the other...terrible. I don't often write reviews, even when I have a bad experience, but after so many awful experiences, I thought someone in higher level management would want to know. Most of the techs at this store are inexperienced and seem as if they don't care to help- which is understandable because it seems they do not have a good example in a leader/manager. Each time they call someone named Kevin up to the register (this time I asked for his name) and I have never felt my business was so unwanted and been treated with blatant disrespect in my entire shopping life. Again, this was not the first time I have encountered him. Each time he is condescending and rude. This last trip, Kevin was called up to the counter again because sadly, the people working the printing didn't know what to do (again). My flyers I had printed had weird pixels all over them and I wanted to see if I could have it fixed. I had the same product printed a week before at FedEx and it did not have pixels. Kevin gave me an extremely rude expression that screamed I don't care and said "I don't know" and I asked if they could try to figure it out if it was the printer or my file I uploaded and he said "no, I don't know". Then I mentioned getting some kind of discount because my flyers were all ruined and he startled me and proceeded to pick up my flyers from in front of me and said "I can take them and throw them into the recycle bin and cancel your order". Keep in mind, I had no hostility or unkind words or anything on my end. There has always been zero effort for him to actually be of service, apologetic, kind, or helpful.
After leaving this location, I called the location near Perimeter Mall. The woman was so sweet and helpful. She looked up my order, printed a sample, and then viewed my file. She explained that it was not my file and that it was their printers. She did not need to do this - I didn't even order my product for her location, but showed what I would expect from a customer service tech. Again, I have never received this kind of service at this location.
In the end, I took my file to FedEx and they printed higher quality with no issue at all.
I would like a refund for my flyers I could not use and I hope by sharing my story, something will be done and other customers will not have to have the same experience I had on what seemed to be an "easy print job" in my opinion.

*UPDATE*
Since this review, I’ve had several emails from Office Depot inquiring about my experience. Frankly, I didn’t expect anything to come of it, so I was rather annoyed by explaining the situation over and over. However, yesterday I got a call from an Andrea from one of the district stores (if I’m saying that correctly) and she was the sunshine on a cloudy day! She heard my issue! She said to not worry about attempting to return the wrong ink and that she was going to overnight the correct cartridge to me with a “goodie bag” of supplies. Which the next day, sure enough I received!
This has saved me from waiting on a delivery or going to another store, AND having to return the wrong ink.
They sent a lovely leather covered, discbound notebook and a set of awesome gel ink pens, both from TUL. Along with a thank you card and direct number to reach the manager. I’m VERY appreciative for both! And it was a lovely gesture. (I can use both of these items, and LOVE these pens!)
Thank you for making things right. The conversation was uplifting and she solved the issue.
COMPLETE IDIOTS! I placed an order for pick up for toner. They sent me a text for pick up. I arrive to pick it up. There are shelves that are alphabetized with orders. My order isn’t there. I wait, wait, wait, wait, and waaait some more for someone to help because of course my order was not in any of the shelves under my name. Finally we find it under another letter. I didn’t recognize it because it was such an oddly shaped package. Well, I get it home and of course it’s the WRONG toner. Not 202XL, but 212XL. REALLY?
Get it together. It’s not that difficult to a) place things alphabetically. B) fulfill a simple order.

I'm adding an update to my original review as the company did reach out very quickly and was great in handling and listening to my concerns and assured me that this was not the service that Office Depot wants to give the customers and assured they would be mindful and make changes going forward to ensure all customers receive the highest quality service. I also received a call and met with the GM who was beyond kind, understanding and had excellent service skills.
I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to try again and for a resolve. Hopefully more people like Mr. Chris will be there to shine so that all gets the excellent service and assistance going forward.
Very rude and discrimination treatment received today from the manager Kevin Lung. When I asked for help, he very rudely replied..."What do you want "
I immediately was appalled and walked away. I asked someone at the front if they could assist and they let me know that Chris was the GM but he was not there today
It is evident that they do not care about the customers or place any value at all on service.
If you do not like your job, why work with people. Office Depot clearly does not train employees on the importance of giving great service and being helpful. I would not shop here again.

Horrible customer service. The short guy that we asked for help rolled his eyes when asking him if they had an item in stock. Same thing when we asked the price of a clearance item. Didn’t even want to help us take it out. Just said the cart was stolen then stood there staring at me creepily. No one that works here cares about their jobs. Might as well close this place down. Employees here

I got to the store I wasn’t greeted there was a cashier and three other people working in the printing section. I walked to the printing section because I had purchased business cards a while back went into the store to ask if my info was still in the system or if I had to start from the beginning, the lady that was “helping me” laughed in my face and said jaja you think it’s still in the system?! That’s when I told her that’s why I’m asking! By that time she asked another employee if my info would still be in the system and then he laughed as well and said jajaja of course not. Why would it be?! And I said the same thing that’s why I’m asking! You guys work here and you guys know more than I do! When I asked the cashier what their names were he said by law he’s not allowed to give any associates name but then again he gave me that managers name?! Make it make sense!!
