“Knowledgeable employees, plants are healthy and hardy, and their prices are comparable to the big box stores (but quality of plants is so much better). I love to buy my fruit plants (raspberries, blackberries, ect) from there. They sell you a real bush. Not some stick that you hope will grow and fruit in a few years (my husband bought a blueberry bush that was literally a stick from Lowe's .... And it cost twice the price of a real bush from Mullinax ). Their double knockout rose bushes have been going strong in my yard for 18 years. My biggest problem is they are so healthy they grow too big. And, I've never even watered them (except what Mother Nature provides). I don't like plants that require a lot of work. I want to plant them in the ground and admire them. Only high quality plants will allow someone with my attitude towards gardening appear to have a green thumb Thus, as long as I live here, Mullinax is the place for me!”

“They are only getting a four star because a young lady who originally answered the phone was not as not helpful, left me on hold for ten minutes. I called back and another lady answered and took much better care of my request promptly which was simply to transfer me to a Manager. I did not face the receipt to my drill and he ask me to bring it over so they could look at it or exchange it. Thankfully, the same lady that answered the phone greeted me and a male cashier wanted up figuring out the issue and walked me through my errors! I wish I could remember all of their names but at least I could give great credit to this store!”

“Get you Halloween and Christmas on!!Bought just tons of stuff here for Halloween and now Christmas too.In fact for Christmas I had to go to several HDs to get everything! Stuff goes so fast around here.The place was well set up but the shelves were not stocked after selling down.Fortunately I know where to look and I found quite a bit of what I was looking for in the overheads.Great deals and now after having the best yard at Halloween I'm going to rule at Christmas too! “Every summer, I start a new project and every summer I go to Home Depot or Lowe's. This Home Depot is an equal distance from my house as the closest Lowe's as well as another Home Depot. I tend to use this one because they don't change their layout and they usually have the most friendly staff. I did not give them five stars because they have two shortcomings. 1.) If there's not someone right there on the aisle or on the aisle next you where you are at, it takes quite a while to get help if you need it. Asking someone to call on the radio is best (the overhead loud speaker is nearly pointless), but a lot of the time they don't get responses from the people they've called on the radios either. 2.) If the wood guy is missing, getting your cuts could take 30 minutes or more. Yikes! It happens more often than you'd think and sometimes he's right there, but he's helping another customer decide which wood to purchase... In my opinion, if you're already done selecting your wood and need a couple cuts, they should come on over. The other people can wait as they still don't even know what they need. Ok, so now the good stuff: I've NEVER not found someone that knew what they were talking about. You can be assured that anyone on the floor knows something about something at this Home Depot. The hardware aisle and plumbing aisles get the most traffic, so they usually have at least 1 person hanging out there at all times. The people at this store have literally NEVER had a bad attitude with me either. They are always in a good mood -or they are tired and indifferent- but never have they been rude or mean or anything in-between. They do customer service right at this store- at least, in my experience. I've seen some customers come in angry and set the mood real quick, but even with those customers, the employees did a great job of handling things without getting upset, themselves. This is my Home Depot.”
