This is the only Hollywood feed I used to go to because I live so close by . Unfortunately they’ve hired some new people that aren’t very helpful and how I miss the old employees they used to have . I walked in very pregnant and the woman that works there made so many excuses to not help me lift a 25lb bag that was on the bottom shelf. According to her it’s because she has a bad shoulder. She didn’t even offer to help me when she saw me walk in , I had to ask her and usually they always offer to help . The other time I went it was a guy who I also had to ask for help as I am still 8 months pregnant and had my 4 year old son with me . This guy ASKED MY SON TO PICK UP THE BAG ! Ofc my little man was excited to be helping but he could’ve hurt himself. It really caught me off Guard that he would ask my son to do such a thing . I’m honestly so annoyed with this location and have been going to a different one that is further away just so I don’t have to deal with these people anymore. I’ve tried to look for a manager number (even tho I hate to be that person) but this is just unacceptable . Hollywood feed isn’t the problem, it’s the employees at this point and whoever decided to hire them .

I loved it they gentlemen that helped me was knowledgeable about my dog and helped me find the right food for my baby this is now my favorite store for all my pet needs.

I don’t write reviews like this, because people have bad days and they shouldn’t be penalized for being human, but this has proven to be a pattern of behavior that I know from personal experience is not in line with the brand.
This afternoon I went into the store and was greeted by Matthew, who didn’t even look up from his phone. He didn’t say a word to me or the other two customers until we individually went up to the registers - normally, this is my ideal customer service experience.
However, there were no sales flyers accessible, the sales displays got lost in the new cluttered layout of the store and it made it difficult to figure out what was or wasn’t on sale. The aisles feel claustrophobic, the handful of times I’ve been in since the beginning of this year I’ve never been offered help to get something off of a high shelf (I actually have grabbed food for several customers while shopping ?) and the scent machine has been moved to the front of the store which makes it a bit cloying to be in for very long. The cow ears I bought reek of the signature scent of Hollywood Feed, even after airing out for several hours before I gave some to the dogs.
Anyways, I got up to the register and was promptly greeted, but that was kind of it. Again, my preferred customer service… until I pointed out that one of the things I knew was on sale didn’t ring up. The POS is difficult, and he had some trouble getting the computer to ring the sales up correctly so he deleted the items and rescanned everything. I tried to tell him that it was probably going to make him input the discounts manually, I was ignored until everything was re-rung up and he became frustrated that the computer didn’t ring up any of the sales. I told him it was going to make him do it in another tab, trying to be helpful and save him some frustration. Eventually everything was rung up again, and I was asked rather rudely “does that look right to you? ?” as if I was being difficult, and not patiently waiting. In between having to start a new tab and finishing, another customer came in, grabbed his food, checked out at the self checkout and left, and I don’t think he was acknowledged at all. I was not offered assistance to the car.
I know this isn’t the kind of customer service that is expected from corporate, and I also know that I’m not the only one who’s been on the receiving end of it. I hope it was just a bad day, and that it gets better.

I appreciate how much the people at Hollywood Feed know about dog food. The world of canine food & supplements is super confusing and they really helped me find solutions for my pups with digestive issues.

The staff immediately greets you when you walk into the store and always ask what you're looking for. They will take you to whatever it is you are wanting. Friendly, professional service has been my experience at any Hollywood Feed store that I've been to.

I was very disappointed with my last visit 2 weeks ago. Prior to this experience, everyone had been very nice. I was in the aisle with my two dogs looking at dog food and a female employee came through the aisle with a cart and asked me to move. The only place for me to go was out of the aisle. She proceeded to put up dog food which was taking some time and therefore, I couldn't get back in the aisle. Since then, I haven't been back and don't plan to come back. I was spending a lot of money at your place for dog food and cat food. I know we cannot always control all employees and their attitudes, but it does lose customers.

Visited this location a couple of weeks ago to find something to help my cats badly itchy and scabby red skin after trying multiple medications at the vet. One of the employees recommended a topical gel after asking about all of her symptoms. And let me say his recommendation has saved her! She has been suffering for months and now she is back to her old self! Thank you so much for caring so much about others pets and for the stellar customer service here!

This used to be my favorite Hollywood Feed but no more. Since the staff has changed, the store has changed. I won't be going to this location any longer. I don't know how many times I can be asked in a 10 minute span if I am finding everything okay - that's really annoying. You really have to meet your customer where they are - this location doesn't do that. The old staff wasn't like that once and done. Not sure if that's a corporate directive for loss prevention or what. But sheesh! Nope - will not be returning.

I just finished cleaning out a crate because my dog got some treat samples from here and has been suffering with liquid diarrhea for two days. I would not recommend anyone purchase the products from here until they can completely verify that they are safe for your fur baby. My dog was completely fine before we visited. Now, he's sick.
