“During our home renovation, our general contractor used Lummus for many items to include LVL beams, i-josts, front door, windows, locksets, and more. There were so many recessed beams going into our house that we asked our general contractor to have everything reviewed by an engineer. Guess what? Our general contractor insisted that we use Lummus because they provide these types of services too! Documentation of the beam layouts and load calculations were included. This is truly a one stop shop! Regarding beams, joists, and engineering, you can see from the pictures that our project included removing a laundry room to open up a kitchen into the dining room. If you look at the pics taken after the beams were installed, you can see how these awesome beams have opened up the house. The contractor and Lummus engineer even determined how to use i-joists to change the direction of the old joists in order to get plumbing and electrical through. In our opinion, the only thing that could have been better with the service provided by Lummus is making sure the loads were transferred down through the foundation better. We noticed what we thought was a bowed window frame in the basement possibly from all the weight transferred from above. The contractor had the Lummus engineer return the next day, and he determined the correct beam to install in the basement. We received many compliments on our new windows and door. They are very nice and bring a fresh look to our home! The only thing that could have been better is the darkness and shading of the window. My wife was only presented one option when the general contractor sent her to the Lummus showroom. Later on, I learned that there are few factors that go into a windows performance rating. If you decide to buy windows, please research Visible Transmittance! It is important. Please see the pictures for the window performance sticker. This seems like a good company with very comprehensive line of products and services!!”

“I've pick up Tilt Wall Braces from Whit Cap a couple of time to deliver to their customers. They have a lot of construction materials in stock. They are good at what the do and will try to get you out of there as quck as possible.”

“Every summer, I start a new project and every summer I go to Home Depot or Lowe's. This Home Depot is an equal distance from my house as the closest Lowe's as well as another Home Depot. I tend to use this one because they don't change their layout and they usually have the most friendly staff. I did not give them five stars because they have two shortcomings. 1.) If there's not someone right there on the aisle or on the aisle next you where you are at, it takes quite a while to get help if you need it. Asking someone to call on the radio is best (the overhead loud speaker is nearly pointless), but a lot of the time they don't get responses from the people they've called on the radios either. 2.) If the wood guy is missing, getting your cuts could take 30 minutes or more. Yikes! It happens more often than you'd think and sometimes he's right there, but he's helping another customer decide which wood to purchase... In my opinion, if you're already done selecting your wood and need a couple cuts, they should come on over. The other people can wait as they still don't even know what they need. Ok, so now the good stuff: I've NEVER not found someone that knew what they were talking about. You can be assured that anyone on the floor knows something about something at this Home Depot. The hardware aisle and plumbing aisles get the most traffic, so they usually have at least 1 person hanging out there at all times. The people at this store have literally NEVER had a bad attitude with me either. They are always in a good mood -or they are tired and indifferent- but never have they been rude or mean or anything in-between. They do customer service right at this store- at least, in my experience. I've seen some customers come in angry and set the mood real quick, but even with those customers, the employees did a great job of handling things without getting upset, themselves. This is my Home Depot.”

“Top notch service. I put in my order at about 5PM for next day pick up. By 7PM that same evening, it was already ready for me to pick it up from the locker. I got 2 packs of Camo brand deck screws and 2 sets of joist hangers for a 2x.”
