Kroger is a very nice, large, and big store, almost the size of Costco, offering thousands of quality food and household products. It is a one-stop shop for all grocery needs, with a huge wine area, a nice bakery, a big produce area with lots of variety, and lots of options in the deli. It generally has what customers need, often with good substitutes at good prices. The store is always clean and well-stocked, and the people that work there are generally sweet, friendly, understanding, and helpful. However, the store can sometimes be a miss. Sometimes stock is not there, such as being out of certain eggs or produce. The lines can be long in the late afternoon and on weekends, and most of the registers are self-serve. This is frustrating for shoppers, especially at night when cash registers are not staffed. The pickup service can also experience significant delays, with customers waiting well beyond their promised time, leading to disappointment. Despite these issues, it remains a popular location with many customers.
